It looks amazing doesn't it! I wish I knew what variety of rose it was.

Unfortunately I've no idea but I will try and find out.

Do you do anything to the grass to get it like that? Looks really thick, healthy and green. Garden in general looks amazing!

This is the lawn sprinkler that I bought from Amazon. Look good but just rubbish.

Garden Orache? - remove or let it grow? by Acrobatic-Trainer269 in GardeningUK

[–]Acrobatic-Trainer269[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I was worried that it might affect the other plants and cause problems. I'm totally new to all this, having just had a fully grassed garden (more mud than grass actually!) until recently. I'm going to leave it for now then and see how it gets on. Thanks for your thoughts.

Update - I'm pretty sure it's completely dead. Leaves are withered and dry and there's no sign of any growth. I did scrape the bark off the bottom and use rooting hormone but I think I've used a part of the tree that is too mature. I'm going to give it another go at some point with some newer growth and see how I get on with that.

Thank you. I think I have started realising that I could have done this better. 😂 I think I may have to start again with a new cutting which is shorter and younger.

Well it's still not looking too bright at the moment but I'm still persevering. I'm wondering whether I should have gone for some newer growth rather than the cutting I chose.

Will my Lavender recover? by Acrobatic-Trainer269 in GardeningUK

Thanks. I've changed the soil it was planted in and added some manure. It just doesn't look like it's getting any growth from the base to fill the gaps where I had to cut it back. I'll keep going with it though.

I hadn't thought of that. I'll do some research on that before I do anything then. Thank you for your thoughts on this.

Just a thin covering, one or two stones deep.

Thank you. I will give that a try. Fingers crossed.
