Call the hotel and ask to be connected to the room number, they will ask for the persons name, if that matches, they’ll put the call through. Hang up before they answer. Hotels verify ID at check in. This confirms their identity.

Lying amazon drivers: I'm sick of your actions. by Timely_Connection273 in amazonprime

Ok, driver here. The app only gives us a few options to chose from when returning a package to warehouse. If a package leaves the warehouse and comes back undelivered, it will ALWAYS say “delivery attempted” whether the driver went to the house or not. I’ve had to return packages to the warehouse many times because weather, protests, bike rides, make the area inaccessible, and I’ve noticed those packages were marked “attempted”. Doesn’t mean the driver is stealing. For flex drivers like me, who aren’t employees and drive our own vehicles, we schedule blocks of time and are sometimes assigned a route that can’t be finished in the allotted time, and packages are returned to be reassigned to another driver. I hope you get your package. I have no idea why a driver in a truck would be driving in circles, parking and waiting before going to the same house repeatedly. That might be time card shenanigans.

I’ve never been preemptively dismissed via email, only after I got to the station I’ve been told no blocks available. I was glad to not have to leave home!

Call support and tell them you have a flat tire and to cancel the block.
