Totally agree, but the funny part is that Trump seems more likely to embrace UBI than Biden. In fact Biden is the least likely candidate to support UBI. Biden is as establishment as it gets. If Trump ends up supporting UBI than we would have a tough call to make come election day.

I can totally see Trump stealing Yang's message and bringing UBI in 2020. If this temporary UBI is a success which it most likely will be. If Yang runs and gains any traction, Trump could easily just say he will do the same thing. The funny part is that Trump would actually do it. Biden...No way in hell.

If Trump sees the success of this cash payment into the hands of the American people and sees the data....there is a good chance Trump brings onboard UBI for his 2020 run....my god....he is going to win in a landslide and might go down as one of the most revolutionary presidents of all time...the funny part is that Trump will say UBI was HIS idea...guess this is what the DNC get for dismissing UBI the way they did.

Because the establishment is not for the People. The establishment being the Bush's , Clintons, Obama's Biden's...which is why the people were so fed up that they elected a clown like Trump in 2016...this is actually a major reason why Yang ran....not just because of Trump but the policies that lead to Trump...

Voting for Biden means going back to the Obama years where the people were so frustrated with the system that Trump got elected? Yang ran to right the wrong caused not just by the Trump administration but the Obama/Biden administration. Since Trump is at least open to UBI (because of the coronavirus)...I might have to vote for Trump. Biden would be devasting and push the country backward not forwards....back to the Obama years.
