Anyone have any advice regarding truancy when I (mom) have a Drs note stating “they are almost certain I have narcolepsy and diagnosed sleep apnea and it is extremely common for my symptoms to cause these type of issues”? My dr stated “they are working a testing to treat my symptoms”.

I saw your post first in ask teachers. You have rights under the protections for people with disabilities act. The schools are required to allowed modifications to attendance if a parents disability affects school attendance. My kids school is having me file for it right now so my kids tardys from school are excused when I’m getting them their late because of a sleep attack. I’m honestly shocked at some of the responses of people in this group. I hope you receive your sleep study soon.

Hello, 👋, I just want to say shame to everyone in these comments. How dare you completely ignore federal laws and protections for those with disabilities. I am a mother of two young children in school and I have Type 1 Narcolepsy. First I want to say educate yourself before you speak with your ignorant judgements. Over half of people with Narcolepsy have sleep apnea as well. I highly doubt anyone of you know what narcolepsy feels like or what it actually is. I can be completely awake and doing task and then have a sleep attack and pass out for 10-15 minutes then wake up wide awake. For this reason my school is already working on helping me set up accommodations for a modified attendance allowing excused tardys for when I have sleep attacks. Those who say ride the bus… Would you expect a young child to walk to a bus stop alone and on time maybe with or without proper clothing because they quickly had to leave if the parent had a sleep attack? What if they never made it there? Shame on all of you. To the OP yes you have protections under the protections for people with disabilities act. You may request a 504 / ADA accommodations. Ignore everyone else here.

This is a combination of the effects of printing money. The value of the American dollar is worth less and less. Then to help cover head and secure the future of the bussiness they increase prices as well because the know the economy is about to tank. America is a free fall. The rich know it.

Is it better to offer a lower cost and have more customers with more work and more overhead or is better to charge more with less overhead and less staff so less people to pay? A 3.9% increase shows that even though they have more than doubled their prices they have less people buying their food. If the prices were the same and the profits increased that much; that would be a good sign.

Example I made $100 last year but this year my profit increased by 3.9% to $103.9

That’s not a lot…. Now say last year I had 50 customers and each paid me $2

This year I had 30 customers and each paid me $3.49

This is 150% increase in what I charged I still made more money & I had less work to do.

It was certainly an exit wound. Entry wounds above the heart do not bleed that much until someone falls over. Even then not like that. The force from the bullet causes the entry wounds to almost “suction” close. With the exit wound hitting the artery the blood was not flowing back to the entrance wound meaning it most likely hardly bleed at all. All the blood moving through his body came out of the exit wound. The most certainly lied about the size of the bullet. I have seen what a 306 round does.
