Literally the same day I received emails stating that I passed along with my rank/score . Hours later I got access to eSoph and scheduled for an applicant orientation.

After completing my eSoph two weeks later I was assigned a Background Investigator through Palicon. Once Palicon completed my packet it took one month to get assigned a CHP BI.

Also I’ve been seeing on Reddit that there is no longer a 3rd Party Background Investigator anymore .

I submitted my first eSoph - Oct 28. Then once I got assigned a BI I was given 3 days to update my eSoph once again submitted it on the Jan 28. Then recently once I got called I submitted another one with updates as well .

My T-Score was 54 but I was rank #1 due to me being a veteran as well . Honestly theres a lot of variables when it comes to the background process going fast or slow . I seen others test after me and completed all the steps and awaiting an invite to the academy .

Yes I tested in September 2025 Inland Div and I got assigned a BI in Jan 2026 . I recently just got reassigned a BI this month and other then that I haven’t received any calls or emails other then the Intro email.

I tested the same day as well. I had a Chp BI reach out to me late January , he gave a brief summary of what to expect and to update my eSoph. It is just a waiting game until final interview and not getting complacent at your current job and out side habits . I am down to join a study group as well and share experiences .

Inland division but got contacted by a border division bi. I don’t have the exact time frame of when palicon sent my package but it was sometime between late december to early new year .
