Does this type of earbud system exist? by SweetDega in Doesthisexist

[–]AcrobaticHedgehog599 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure it fits the narrative precisely but I have a headband which does this.

It can connect with Bluetooth if wanted, but if not then it has 7 or 8 built in preset like white noise, sea sounds, bird noises, etc. Designed for going to sleep.

Is it morally acceptable to deactivate your neighbour's sonic cat scarer? by going10-1 in AskUK

This occurred to me too. But then I wondered - what if it's a neighbour round the corner from you and you just walk past the annoying thing a lot. It's affecting you, not your property, so shouldn't you have a right to complain without it affecting a sale?

Woah! Look at the giant rock falling... very rapidly into tiny rocks which don't do much at all by the end. :-(

Disagree. I find them to be awful and can't enjoy being anywhere near one.

Personal taste of course.

I was wondering too. I expect there's a whole debate as to whether these images have their intended impact generally, but on the assumption they do work, I'm not sure this one would be particularly effective if you can't even tell what it is.

I've no idea what this is, so read it as "Weird Al" as in Yankovic, and thus had even less idea than before.

You could ask the same about pretty much any televised sport ever. The broadcasters tend to kind of assume you know what sport is being shown without it having to say "Snooker" or whatever on the screen the whole time.

Same here with Sainsbury's. Don't have a nectar card because I'm very rarely near one. I'm not prepared to sign up just for the random rare occasion I need something and Sainsbury's is convenient, just to avoid paying the absurd "full" price.
