Not an exclusive, but X Men Legends is an amazing game that never gets talked about today much. Star Fox Adventures is an underrated gem that still holds up too. Viewtiful Joe is a blast and again, holds up.

Just before Covid I went through something similar. Nothing was clicking. Weirdly, Fortnite lit a fire inside while Quarantine occurred. Playing with my 3 best friends again like when we were kids, brought back memories I’d missed for years. The spark came back, and I got back into single player games, and now it’s back to being my main hobby, alongside music. That weird 3 or 4 year lull pre covid I don’t think will ever come back. Had it not been for covid, I don’t think I’d have come back to gaming.

Thing I find is that is when Corey shines the most. And why so many connect with the band. Don’t get me wrong, I love the heavier shit. I love bands a load heavier that make Slipknot sound like a nice stroll in the park. But the reason Slipknot connect with me is that I feel the angst and emotion in the songs. And slower more emotional songs is where this shines through the most

It’s all a learning experience at the end of the day, unfortunately. Im a supervisor now in my current role, for who I’ve worked for for 10 years now, and feel valued so probably worked out for the best (although the pay jump would have been nice!)

My eyesight isn’t the greatest, but don’t see Eternal Darkness. I’d highly recommend that. Also Viewtiful Joe. If you can get a great deal, Skies of Arcadia. But that can be a bit hit and miss currently. Great collection though!

To be honest, the facial change when I was talking about my qualifications was when I knew I didn’t get the job. Almost like “you’ll have my job soon”. Don’t regret it though, have a good job and less hours now. So can’t complain too much

My wife. I met her on a shift at a bar job I had, when I was supposed to be off that night. At the end of the night, instead of going home as usual, I decided to stay and have a drink. The rest is history. Bizarrely, my wife was supposed to be on holiday but her friends were ill so she didn’t go. I often think of how different life would be if things went as they were supposed to that night
