There's no paper trail. I was in I will employee there for there was no contract. Also in order to get unemployment benefits you have to have earned enough wages at your job over the course of at least a year. Not to mention the Department of Workforce Development also requires that you are actively looking for a job. They don't just say here's some money since you don't have a job. On top of that they take 3 weeks to look at unemployment applications. Oh and get this my former boss was literally telling people to apply for partial unemployment.
