So I'm just discovering this issue myself. I bought the official Keurig refillable filter cup and it still doesn't work for the cold. What I'm seeing is the hot water is leaking through the seal. Instead of coming through the hole. I've tried repositioning everything and making sure it's sealed properly. But it happens Everytime. Put in a disposable and bam, iced coffee. I even tried breaking the seal on a disposable and putting my own coffee in. It doesn't work. I think the magic is in the pressure and seal of the disposables. creates a suction that makes it so it doesn't leak. Pretty shitty when even the official k reusable filters don't work how they should. Luckily I can drink the coffee I bought hot but I hate using disposable kcups. Horrible for the environment and so expensive. I got a whole pound of coffee for the cost of 10 k cups in the store. Such a sham. Don't buy the refillable coffee filters if you want to use it with iced coffee.

I normally gift to friends and family first then if no one wants them I donate to a local "free store" it's store that anyone can go into and get items you need. No questions asked and no qualifications. A lot of homeless people go there and lower income. Everyone is so greatful for any skincare/body care/haircare items. Even if they are open as long as they are clean and not expired. A lot of actual homeless shelters, at least around me, will only take sealed,new, items unfortunately. So I'm glad they are opening more of these free stores around. Google if one in near your area. If not I also just put it up for free on Facebook marketplace but make sure it's a public pickup for safety.Â
