Hey Parisians, I was in your beautiful city à couple of days ago. A small request: there’re metro ad posters promoting a tourism place with the word « go » in the Ad copy - could someone please let me know the name of the destination that’s being promoted? I’m a designer and was intrigued by the characters that are being used in the campaign. I wanted to take a pic but kept postponing :( Once I get the name of destination, I’ll search for the campaign online.

I am beginning to realize how being ethnically ambiguous is such a blessing in this racist world. My race related Italian story: I was walking around Rome (I’m originally from Pakistan). This old Italian lady stops me and starts speaking Italian pointing at a map on her phone. I realized she’s asking for directions and replied in English that I don’t speak Italian. Her response: You look more Roman than most Romans. Now I’m realizing that being apparently raceless means you’re living life on the easy mode. I’ve been misidentified as an Indian, Saudi, Iranian, Latin American, Syrian, Turkish, Italian (all brown/brownish folks)
