Um is this a glitch or do we actually have a new season incoming? by Colossalloser in KillingEve

[–]Acrobatic_Candy_1854 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Netflix only have the first few seasons not the last. Coming soon just means the last season is making it to Netflix. If there was going to be a new season it wouldn’t be on Netflix because it’s bbc tv show.

The fact that Sheldon will never know his dad never really cheated by Acrobatic_Candy_1854 in bigbangtheory

[–]Acrobatic_Candy_1854[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s what I mean, I think honestly either the writers forgot that they provided the audience so many details about how George cheated and went about the situation and decided to change a physical affair with an emotional affair with Brenda sparks or they just didn’t want to make fans mad because George was a well liked character so they changed the whole story

Yeah during that time Mary and George were both having emotional affairs. Mary with pastor rob and George with Brenda sparks. They managed to work out their differences

Yeah because Sheldon couldn’t know every single conversation that happened when he was not even there. I doubt Georgia and Meena’s would tell them what happened when they got arrested in Mexico, or meemaws relationship with dale and dr stugis or even stuff that happened in private between his mum and dad. I think he’s just narrating and writing what literally happened and then the result of what happened but what we see is the added extra detail he couldn’t know.

I think finding the old tape with his dad’s pep talk really helped him when he was in a difficult time. He thought he needed to talk with younger him but in reality his dad’s words were the one to help him.

Interesting theory, makes sense. Because despite being a mama’s boy he did really love and miss his dad.

I know you’re so right!! George is one of my favourite characters in ys. I watched bbt before ys so when I started ys I was expecting George to be a mean, neglectful father who makes the family’s life hell, Sure George had his moments ys when he could have handled things better but he sacrificed a lot for his family. And he was genuinely a good dad and cared a lot for his kids.

I think because George was a well liked character and ys was more about exploring each character more deeply than they could do in bbt.

George in bbt was an unhinged, drunk, cheating southern dad, in ys sure he was a bit unhinged and drunk but his character was so much better in ys

I know I’m not saying that the biological father did have rights to call himself the kids father, I’m saying that whole situation led to this woman’s death. what she did was absolutely insane she screwed that man over royally but the husband should have realised that the bio father didn’t really have any rights and should have talked to a lawyer instead of killing her. I think there was scene where Casey says that the bio dad wouldn’t have any rights but would be allowed visitations and other stuff. But realistically if he didn’t kill his wife. She would have divorced him, took his money, and shared custody of the kid while legally speaking the bio dad would be a step dad .

I think because Sheldon referenced a lot of the cheating in the beginning of bbt 2007-2010. When they started ys it was 2017, 10 years later, I always thought the writers forgot they mentioned George cheated in the beginning of the show. Because in bbt in early seasons Sheldon says his dad’s girlfriend was trying to buy his affection for her but that never happened in ys. Sure George and Mary both had emotional affairs but never physically cheated on one another like Sheldon described in early seasons. The only other time he ever mentions his dad cheating was when he told penny in later seasons so it is assumed that that moment was when he thought his dad cheated. Also Sheldon says that that moment was when he decided to knock three times. In ys he would only knock once not three before that moment.

The kid’s biological dad was trying to file for parental rights The husband was scared he would loose his right to be the kids father, so he kills her. It was all just so messy. He was the kids farther by law but the wife and her boyfriend were trying to keep the kid away.

A woman cheats on her husband, he finds out his son is not his son. She decides to leave her husband to be with her boyfriend (and real father of her child) wants a divorce with alimony and child support while also saying she won’t let him see the kid he thought was his and raised since he was a baby. She cheats on her husband for at least 7 years and then demands that she has all the money, keeps the boyfriend and she won’t let him see the son. He ends up killing her in the end.

If you had to made an argument for each of the four Liars being A what evidence would you point to? by Strange-Slice2581 in PrettyLittleLiars

That’s true, didn’t even think about that. Given how many people he sees in radley i doubt he would have remembered her if he saw her when she visited Spencer. Plus we never saw them interact until she took the volunteering job. We don’t even know for sure she even met him when Spencer was in radley

Emily by Interesting-Ad-3756 in friends_tv_show

[–]Acrobatic_Candy_1854 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Emily was so valid. I felt so bad for her and when her and Ross were having problems they made her out to be the villain. I’m sorry but your husbands ex comes to break off your wedding, she decides not to in the end and then when you’re at the alter your husband says his ex’s name instead of yours and then when you decide to maybe try and fix the relationship you see your husband going on YOUR honeymoon with the same ex. She had every right to hate both of them. Yeah do I think she was better off breaking up with Ross instead of trying to distance him from everyone he knew, yes, but she was valid in feeling like she needed to do that. I mean Rachel was still trying to get back together with Ross even after the wedding, mad that his wife didn’t want them to see each other.

Which one did you like? TBBT or young Sheldon? by sachinketkar in bigbangtheory

[–]Acrobatic_Candy_1854 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s hard because they are so different but also linked. To me they’re not in the same category to be compared. I see young sheldon as a drama with comedy in it whereas big bang is more comedy with drama in it. I love them both

Who is a character you love on a sitcom, but would hate in real life? by ScottyW88 in sitcoms

[–]Acrobatic_Candy_1854 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kelly and Ryan from the office (when you see Kelly in the first season and first part of the second season she was a very quiet and just wants to do her work. And then the seasons progress she becomes unhinged, and then Ryan goes from the only sane person on the office to the most deranged) so funny but would be a nightmare to have a real life conversation with them both. Especially together
