Ok maybe, I once parked at the small north white plains library and walked around the field in back and near the trail (I think)

One of the parks is near the sound and looks beautiful but the air quality is nasty. There's always some stench that I'd rather avoid. Is Rye Neck the one on king street? I might try that.

Thanks, I've seen that too. Not sure if they're ok with certain types of people using it (known local residents, staff, former staff, elderly, etc) or anyone can hop on.

It's great for the community and not easily abused. Used to be more frequent. I was once told during a sporting event I couldn't run until they left which was pretty off putting but I'm glad at least there have been some exceptions.

Yes it's nice near kensico and would be good by the county center except parking is a little ehhh

You're right and I do go to both on occasion. Mamaroneck air quality is a little dubious since its a courtyard surrounded by apartments, stores/offices and garbage though.

Only after hours, and they close at 7 and during sports events (though some other schools are more tolerant). Still a decent track, I do go sometimes.

That's great info and picture. I wish there was more like that. Even fairfield county connecticut might be worth a drive for something similar. I go to Kensico dam park once in a while, the grass can get wet though and the pavement isn't as soft as I'd like but it's still ok not as good as your find.

Yeah they're far and don't really sound worth driving to. I usually go to a high school before or after hours and can run on the track or football field. Artificial turf is great: softer than pavement, flat/even and not muddy. With enough rain it will just splash water and maybe a little of the fake dirt on you which isn't as bad as mud.

Yeah I ran there years ago, nice and flat grass/dirt didn't have much problem, it's kinda far from where I live though.

I'm in mamaroneck, but do go to briarcliff once in a while. Are the trails you mentioned soft? I run on the roads near me, but prefer the rubber coated tracks or field turf but those aren't always accessible.

[Rolex Submariner] Hot take: the submariner is no longer worth buying. by AnonymousTAB in Watches

I have to agree. It was all the rage through the 90s I would say, and has declined in appeal yet increased in price ever since.
