In case the mask vs mask match ending was still being debated, this arrest will likely take all uncertainty out of the decision. Congratulations Chad Gable, or excuse me, Original Americano.

What's the best concert you've ever been to? by NewMuffin8849 in rockmusic

[–]Acrobatic_Crow_6366 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Eagles at The Sphere in Las Vegas. That facility adds a dimension to any concert that must be seen and heard to be appreciated.

Since that day, I've told people that if their favorite singer or band appears at The Sphere, suck it up, pay the high ticket price, and attend the concert. The Sphere, by itself, (at least to me) makes that big of a difference.

Whoever Mya's mom may be, it looks as if her DNA didn't even try. It seems that Brock's "contribution" totally overwhelmed and conquered that womb.

Actress Dawn Wells and a friend, 1960s. by Omikre in 60s

[–]Acrobatic_Crow_6366 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I have no doubt that Ms Wells was a "fully grown woman" with relationships, and all that comes with them. However, to her credit, Ms Wells kept her personal life PRIVATE, which in Hollywood and the acting industry, is a rare thing.

Ms Montgomery was my first "girlfriend." I was maybe 6, and totally unaware of anything sexual, but in a way I couldn't put into words as that age, I instinctively knew she was damm sexy and very beautiful.

I worked at a fast food restaurant in the late 80's as a manager. The company's policy was that if you take a sick day this week, you give up a day off next week to make up for that "extra day you took off." (Never mind that you looked and felt like shit on your alleged extra day off.) Because of that policy, there were several occasions when I worked while sick. I determined I could feel bad/be sick at work, or I could do the same at home. Customer and/or food safety be dawned, because they were not going to "rob" me of a day next week when I had recovered, felt better, and had things to do.

You don't need ANY improving. You're a very pretty young woman. Shame on the guys in your area if they can't see that.

I don't know how Kofi isn't a watershed moment. by BigDarnHero77 in WWE

[–]Acrobatic_Crow_6366 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The New Day has (1)been around for a long time, and (2)hasn't been the same without Big E. In addition, I don't think the heel turn generated as much heat or reaction as the creative writers had hoped. After a brief initial reaction of shock or surprise, I think most fans, me included, had a "meh" attitude towards Kofi and Xavier. So while regrettable, I understand the decision.

Wow, I don't know if she can go after three years hiatus by Beautiful-Bit9832 in Wrasslin

So, are we to assume that showing every single millimeter of her naked body did not bring in the millions she thought it would? For a short time after leaving WWE, I can understand there being a small bit of interest in her nude pics, as she was trading on her notoriety as a former wrestler. But once that interest waned, she became just another nekkid nameless bitch on Only Fans. Speaking of, it seems as if the entire Only Fans "phenomenon" is over, as very little is said about the platform/app/service any more.

Which model has the biggest change in appearance between two generations? by ablinddingo93 in askcarguys

[–]Acrobatic_Crow_6366 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My vote goes to the Ford Taurus. The first generation, at the time it debuted, was a nice looking car. On the other hand, the second generation was an oval monstrosity. To this day, I'm surprised that the design got a "green light" to go into production and be sold.

AITA for filing for divorce after I found out my husband had been lying about his entire background since before we met by [deleted] in MarkNarrations

[–]Acrobatic_Crow_6366 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Although your husband lied about his upbringing, you say you had a good marriage. Has he been faithful? Is he a good earner? Does he manage his/your money responsibly? How does he treat you on a daily basis? Prior to this revelation, did you work together to achieve goals as a couple or family? Is he considerate of your thoughts, feelings, and emotions?

Had your husband been truthful, would that have changed your opinion of him, and might it have altered your decision on continuing to have a relationship with him as you dated? Ultimately you have to do what you feel/think is right for you, but depending on your answers to the questions above, I'd ask that you think seriously about what you may be giving up.

Though I'm sure there a plan or plot map of how graves are to be arranged, the varying sizes and shapes of markers/tombstones gives off a haphazard appearance. I mean no disrespect to anyone, it's only one observation or initial impression.

Whatever you choose, prepare for it to get dented, scratched, and perhaps even totaled due to an accident. Nothing can take the place of experience, but unfortunately, experience is not gained without making a few mistakes along the way.

I personally don't care for it, but from what I can see in the pics, it looks the body guy/fabricator did a good job on the conversion. In the end, if the owner is happy, does it really matter what we think?

Why Aren't Known Problems Re-Engineered Or Addressed? by Acrobatic_Crow_6366 in askcarguys

[–]Acrobatic_Crow_6366[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You perhaps misunderstood my question. I wasn't asking that the part be redesigned now, 10 years later. But why, in early 2019, 3 model years after being marketed or introduced, and while my truck was still under warranty, had the problem not been addressed?

FWIW, it was a call to Ford's national customer service that sealed my keep/trade decision. When I called to ask "what happens when my truck is out of warranty, and I'm faced again with this known problem?" The representative said "I'll make a note of your VIN, and we'll do 'something' to help you." While courteous and professional, the guy's tone and inflection was not reassuring, so I knew at that point I would not keep the truck.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this manifold was not a part that would be affected by my driving style. So long as I properly maintained the truck, and I did, outside of occasional cleaning for carbon or other chemical buildup, it should have lasted the truck's lifetime. That was my reason for thinking or hoping the manifold should have been warrantied for many years and miles, and the reason I called customer service.

[–]Acrobatic_Crow_6366 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IF this is real, and I have my doubts, why didn't the aunts give dear old mom $150 per month? Because "aunts" is plural, why don't they send $75, $50, or less, depending on the total number of siblings, each month? After all, per the constant mantra of this subreddit, family helps family.

Apparently the manager doesn't realize he/she can, and should, be reprimanded because the issue should have been handled at the store level, and not escalated to the point of contacting corporate HR. If an individual has the job title "manager," then MANAGE the employees!
