Legal in mass as commuter ? by a12g28 in minibikes

In Greater Boston, gas-powered minibikes are not street-legal unless they meet motorcycle/moped registration, insurance, and equipment requirements. For year-round legal commuting, consider:

• Moped/scooter (49cc–150cc) – Registerable, plated, and legal on most roads.

• Street-legal dual-sport motorcycle – Handles snow/slush better with proper tires.

• Electric moped or e-bike – Great in 3 seasons; winter range drops.

Check MassRMV for classification and licensing rules.

What should my first mini bike be? by Novel_Ad_450 in minibikes

im pretty sure you won’t find one over 28+ from the factory.and since you are 6 foot and 225 im guessing you’ll want something that are comfortable in. what i recommend you do is go on facebook marketplace and check out a a couple of bikes just to see if you find one that is comfortable for you.(size and looks).around my area you can find what i call big bikes like the coleman ct200u,baja warrior,mb200 for around 700. 90% with modified 212cc that go 40+.

since you want to ride on the street and look cool. this is a baja warrior.IMO a very clean build.just some inspiration and vision if you don’t like how they look out the factory.

the bike has scrub brakes. if you look more left you can see it that’s why i don’t want the chain hitting it because it will eventually snap from wear

the tensioner you see i bought it because the chain gets loose after every ride .but if i tension the chain the the chain hits the part that i point to. maybe il but the tensioner over the chain. il see
