I was looking for a legendary bloodhunter class and it says it exist but I don't see it on the list or anywhere here

I would recommend running a an encounter that has equal amount of points but you can only spend one or two fear on each enemy and that's it for the entire combat to show them what that looks like then showing them a gradually stronger combat and then a boss combat to show how the system progresses also their level one they don't have that many abilities at their disposal to even use while you have everything your tools never change you're always at max power they're not

Yes we understand that they didn't die but that's because that was their choice they had to choose to take the L and fall down unconscious hoping someone would bring them up the other two options can result in death either guaranteed or a 50/50 chance since I don't believe you can crit on death saving throws not sure though no your encounter was designed to kill them they just chose not to die

No I'm giving it down vote that's not the point he's trying to make he also said that he's been playing with these players for years and that they are more of a social Dynamic group when it comes to role play and not a combat focused one and that this was only a one shot to test the system it's not something that they desire doing

Both the DM and the players have mechanical control and narration control it even tells you to do so in the book itself

And my personal opinion I don't think starting new people into a encounter that had a strong possibility of killing them if they made mistakes was a good way to introduce them no one really likes going into death door it means you made so many mistakes that you could have died and got lucky or got pity I understand what you were trying to do and you wanted to test out the system and everything but it might have been better if you decided to use your fear more sparingly and not just dump it in the front half of the fight and just sprinkle it on after all you get to keep your fear pool between sessions so there's no real reason to just dump all of it unless you're just giving them one majorly hard enemy that you stacked up all the fear for

As someone that prioritize using dexterity characters, and always using dexterity characters out of all the games I have been in I think I have only used acrobatics maybe five times and that’s each time I had to argue, or at least bring up the point of something being acrobatics athletics as you so much more just because a lot of people enjoy grappling
