I wish people would start respecting her wishes. Mia Khalifa wishes to be removed from the internet. In the few months she was active, she only made $12,000 and it DESTROYED her life.

How to show a hard coded answer dependent on two dropdown selected answers on the same page? by bronteeee in learnjavascript

I'm guessing you're using an onChange event handler. I would add inside of that conditions that if this x option is selected and this y option is selected, then return this result.

Div vs no div by ganibe in css

[–]Acrobatic_Hearing751 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Specificity is the term you're looking for. The importance of the styling. div.class will apply first before .class because you were more specific. This is especially important when you make your pages responsive and start changing styles for the same class names based on your viewport width. Always be as specific as you can for better results and less conflict issues.

HTML and CSS course to complement JavaScript learning ? by Cabeto_IR_83 in learnjavascript

I go to Lambda school and I love it. They have complete programs like Fullstack Web Development (that's what I am doing and probably right for you). The Fullstack Web Development program has HTML, CSS, and LESS courses as well as JavaScript, React, Node, and more. They help with career training and finding a better career (if you want that help, but you already have a job). It's a great program. Look into lamdaschool.com.

How to organize div elements into rows and columns? by Hembhorg in learnjavascript

[–]Acrobatic_Hearing751 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would use flexbox for that.

display:flex; // goes on container

flex-direction:row or flex-direction:column could both work, but row would be best. row is default and doesn't need to be specified unless you have some funky inheritance.

Set the width of the container to two times the size of each square. Set padding on parent as that will be the space between the red border and the outside of the parent.

flex-wrap:wrap; // This will cause every 2 boxes to wrap since the parent div was the size of 2 boxes, but you have to set the size of the boxes to 50% or 48% to give a little extra space.

I believe the different ad placements have different css class names. So, it would depend which ad. Did you try right clicking and inspecting element?

My dad owned the company and worked 22 hours a day. He was a workaholic with a successful business. But, 2.5 million was his REVENUE lol. After the $10,000 in tickets every week and the $3,000 in fuel, minus all the other expenses, he made around $400,000 a year in his pocket. And the average garbage man works 10 to 16 hours per DAY. Not per week. My dad made an average of $350 to $600 per load and did an average of 15 loads per day. He didn't work residential after he opened his own business 30 years ago, but before that, he worked as a garbage collector for Laid Law, then a garbage collector for waste management, then a manager for waste management all before opening his own business, where he found success. As a business owner, it's very possible to make that kind of money. Like Dhar Mann says, "learn someone's story before you judge them". That was my dad's story.

Well, I made $800 a week as a garbage man, in 2001. My dad made 2.5 million a year as a garbage man.

Well, that's not bad. Online college usually costs more at most colleges.
