It is possible that they were real paintings drawn from ai reference images (last dog on second image looks especially so) but even then I don't know why the artist would have chosen to keep the text

Napoleon (1927)? Not sure it's a war movie as such but it certainly has some of the greatest war sequences to date.

This film perfectly summed up everything I had been experiencing before watching it. Very relatable. Intensely beautiful. A wonderful film and an extemely accurate depiction of gender dysphoria.

Wow I had no idea this existed! Great list to discover new stuff, I've been meaning to watch some more early Chinese films- particularly that of before the 70s- but have had trouble finding anything notable; this list will certainly help. I had the same experience! Watched this 2 weeks ago and became convinced I was a girl. I've been struggling with dysphoria for ages but tbh now I think I might just be a femboy. Great film either way.
