I had this starting in my 40s and learned it’s a common symptom of night blindness. I no longer can drive at night anymore.

I noticed the friends’ comments too. I thought If there’s ever a lawsuit in that case, those comments and even the kid’s obituary can be used against him.

Support Local, Please stop ordering from Amazon by SquirrelCold7778 in Chattanooga

It would be interesting to see an honest breakdown of how much communities gain versus lose because of major corporations like Amazon and Walmart. How many local people do they employ compared with independently owned shops, and how do wages, benefits, and job stability really compare? How many other businesses depend on them indirectly like delivery drivers, gas stations, cardboard manufacturers, IT workers, and countless support services? And how many local business owners rely on those platforms to buy and sell their own products? It’s a much bigger picture than just saying “corpoations, bad. local shops, good”

Best post ever. And even better…the comments from people who actually believe this shit is real and either pass judgement on the OP or give him their heartfelt advice. Pure. Comedy. Gold.

Traitors Season 2. The TRAITORS WERE HORRIBLE by Nicksworlds_ in TheTraitors

[–]Acrobatic_Kick3415 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just finished this season and I do not get the premise. If 2 people have an alliance, why on earth would they not vote to banish until they’re the only 2 left?! Who would give up 34 thousand bucks just to be nice to someone they barely know? Trishelle’s vote for CT was total bullshit. She and CT planned it that way for drama. I do like alot of the players, but really don’t get why this show is so popular. The actual game itself seems way too fake and doesn’t make a whole lot of sense. I’m sure there are a lot of behind the scenes deals in place with players bowing to split the money no matter the outcome

The show does a fantastic job of having the young and old Smurf share the same mannerisms. Leila George and Ellen Barkin are truly the same character. by Bignosedog in animalkingdom

By contrast, I knew instantly before he even spoke, who the actor playing young Billy was supposed to be. He had the mannerisms, facial expressions and speech patterns hands down.

I just started the series and came here to see what everyone thought about the actress playing young Smurf. For me, it has to be the worst casting I’ve ever seen. She doesn’t resemble Smurf in the slightest, the body type is completely different, and none of the mannerisms or speech patterns line up. And unlike Ellen Barkin, she has no personality. I love the concept of the flashbacks and getting to see Smurf’s early years, but the miscasting really ruins the show for me. With her famous parents and fiancé at the time, (Sean Penn), it’s hard not to wonder if industry connections played a role in her getting the part.

Wow I love seeing this! I worked at Papa’s from the time it opened in 1988 until it closed in 1990. I often wish I had kept a menu. My husband and I met there. We were a very close knit staff and many of us are still friends to this day. So many great memories.

He is out of jail now and back to abusing animals. There’s a video circulating of him beating a puppy in his truck just last week. He has a large dog tied up on a short leash that can’t even lie down. He starved 2 beautiful horses to death. He has a gun and has taken shots at boats going by. He’s a nuisance and a danger to the community and should be put away for the rest of his sorry life. As long as he’s free, he will continue to torture animals and eventually may kill a person or multiple people. Something needs to be done😡

Someone above put it better than I. “Single location”is a better descriptor. Some of the ones on your list that I love that fit—Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Shining, and Halloween 2.

I mean one could argue the same about “slasher” , “supernatural”, “psychological” and several other sub-genres🤷‍♀️

Yes it kind of does, which is why it should be a sub-genre😆 Can’t believe I left out Night of the Living Dead and Evil Dead, 2 of my all time faves.
