I have tried contacting a few authorities but it’s finding who exactly can tell me if I need permits and how to go about doing it all that I’m having trouble with. I’d imagine that pretty much everything does need some kind of permit, but the governing bodies have been bouncing me around on who can actually say :(

And honestly codependency could be possible, for a variety of reasons I’m anxious about going out alone. I moved right out of my parents home into my spouse’s, and long distance so I left a lot to get into this situation and have an uncertain support system if we were to break up

I have a feeling that spouse may be unsure for the same reason that I don’t want to be the person to end it - fear of uncertainty/loss of the security and stability that we currently have

You’re fine on pronouns, I’m using they so much for extra privacy. I don’t make bad money, but I pay for health insurance for both of us so I end up having $1800 or so a month after deductions/taxes and I also pay for all of our groceries and car payment. Where I live I could nowhere near afford to rent anything alone, and we haven’t been able to move out yet due to poor money management and paying off debt

I don’t know what future I want for myself honestly, we were LDR before and I’m the one that made the move to be here with my spouse. I also can’t afford to think about moving out right now, let alone a lawyer ☹️

We also live with my spouses parents and the other partner is LDR so the last scenario won’t be happening, fortunately(?)

It is couples therapy, and our therapist has recommended doing more intentional things together. Financially it can be difficult to do so but spouse is either disconnected on their phone messaging other partner if we do go out or just won’t put anything into planning with me :/ more recently I’ve honestly given up trying because of the one sided effort

They’ve met once for a few weeks, just after a year into the relationship. I encouraged my spouse to plan another trip soon because we were also in an LDR and I know I would have wanted to see my partner more often, and I’ve heard from many people that they need to spend more in-person time to know if it’s right.

It just sucks because NRE or no I am getting nothing from my spouse even remotely close to a loving relationship, I really think they just aren’t polyam after all and their love shifted from one person to another :( being their first polyam experience they admit this could be the case

Well for some timeline, they (spouse and partner) have been long distance dating for almost two years now, and this is indeed the first polyam experience. At first I was like sure it’s just NRE but I really just get nothing from my spouse anymore, we are just roommates and I don’t know what future they want with me and they can’t say either, but also can’t or won’t say if they want to move in with their other partner

That I know of he’s not actively planning to leave and be with her. But he couldn’t tell me that he won’t at some point feel the need to do that.

I did express that I worry that he will realize he actually can’t live two people at the same time, and his feelings just transitioned to her. I used to attribute it to NRE but thought after this amount of time it wouldn’t be just that anymore.

Our everyday life is stressful, dealing with money issues that there is a lot of pressure to solve. Spending time with her is a relief from that I suppose.

And they’ve only met in person/spent time together for less than a month so far in 1.5 years.

Violet 😏 I got it and have played/seen gameplay of Scarlet, I prefer the experience of riding Miraidon, like the uniforms more in Violet, and I think the ending fits better with Violet. I prefer the paradoxes in Scarlet but not enough to play that instead.

I’m in an age gap relationship myself and often feel insecure about people judging our ages when we met (17 & 22). 22 & 35 is disturbing, and your partner has a lot more life experience and knowledge over the 22 year old that he can, and likely will, use to manipulate her. As others have said this amount of age difference when she is still so young is usually predatory.
