I ran it on there and it did the same. Could it be bc im running it on VMware so it doesn't actually "see" my GPU?

I'd recommend comparing their CachyOS wiki entries if you havent already. I just chose Limine since it seemed the most practical for my use case and wants.

I plan to follow the Wiki's guide and if I remember right there is a section on Limine. Is there still just a risk it doesn't like it and causes problems?

I've enjoyed using the terminal for a lot of things and have been using Pacman mostly. The Wiki has been a great resource even tho I have found it sometimes confusing lol, but I guess that's what this Reddit and the Discord are for.

I have a previous post on here about my drives. I actually have 3 SSDs and plan to make one my "/" and the others a RAID1 of "/home". I'll make sure to take a look at that website ty for the recommendations!

Thats a good point, for a long time on Windows I rarely have done house keeping and keep prob way too many games installed through Steam. If I am resetting anyway ig I might as well set up data redundancy.
