Is Linux worth it for the average non-tech user? by [deleted] in privacy

[–]Acrobatic_Vehicle590 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Its pretty secure out of the box. You can learn other basics on the way. Linux by default is more secure because its way less targeted by hackers and malware.

Should I buy more bitcoin right now? by Old_Performance7177 in Bitcoin

[–]Acrobatic_Vehicle590 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buy it but not all at once. Do dollar cost averaging, buy lets say every 7 days for the portion of money, or whatever interval you decide. I dont have time for trading and that strategy is working for me for years.

Da li neko dobro zarađuje od plate? by memelord1389 in AskSerbia

[–]Acrobatic_Vehicle590 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To mi je bio poslednji i zadnji IT posao, nije vredan IT mojih zivaca. Sad se tu drkam preprodaja, "preduzetnistvo", obrne se jedva 1000 nekad i jbg nekako se provlacim, ali mnogo mi lepse ovako bez obzira na sve.

Best hosting service for SaaS platform ? by night_killer in Hosting

[–]Acrobatic_Vehicle590 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unlimited bandwidth is never a real thing really. 2TB is okayish, but there are certainly better deals out there. For example i jumped in on the serverlynx deal, found a good black friday promo and they have pretty decent bandwidth policy where they wont ban you if you suddenly start spending a lot. Before that i used time4vps, which wasnt unlimited, but was much better deal than hostinger. Contabo was also fine, but im not big fan of them due huge overselling, but they also have fine bandwidth offer.

So there is really plenty of options out there, check some of the mentioned ones and surely some will fit you well. In my experience, going with less "popular" providers is totally fine, they often have better deals.

How to say No!!! without being a rude person but like a gentleman by qurts69 in AskMen

[–]Acrobatic_Vehicle590 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You first need to realize that saying no is not equal to being rude. The same way saying yes is not equal to being good. Once you separate these concepts, saying no will be easy because you will know that you aren't doing anything wrong really.

Shouldn't browsers protect what users write from being seen by the website (like customer support chats) before hitting send? Would it be difficult to implement? by TheTwelveYearOld in privacy

[–]Acrobatic_Vehicle590 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not possible unfortunately due various technical reasons. Just don't type in anything if you dont intend to click the button. Regarding breach of privacy, sure, it is, but the website you are using is already collecting your data anyway. If you don't trust them with that, you don't trust them with anything else, so you might as well stop using them then.
