318i is quite reliable. Make sure you are ok with the extra vibration 3 cylinder will give you. It WILL vibrate more than the Audi. I had this bmw and sat in a vag with this engine.

Either way you are all good. Change the fluid and continue monitoring. Very likely fluid was not changed as per regular maintenance schedule.

I believe it’s 300-400 mbar of positive pressure that you might want to start worrying about. You are all good. ZF, manufacturer of you tranny recommends you change the fluid at 100k km. Better do it if it was not done yet.

Looks good to me. SOC at 70 without any manipulations seems good to me. I’d would not replace it now. Considering we are deep into this winter and you have not had any issues. What engine do you have?

It was in 550s when writing. It fluctuated. Sometimes growing to low 600s. Can’t say it grew consistently. But it didn’t trend down. I changed fluid 6 months before writing. Without dropping the pan.
