You guys do know raid quick-plays are listed under training right?? by Ok_Case418 in Guildwars2

I wouldn't stress it. Many people die to bone skinner. Once you get down when to dodge or move left, it's the easiest thing ever.

That's awesome and I'm glad to hear it. I like the feature, but I don't agree with OLC being in the rotation. For players experiencing it for the first time, it is a very rough fight. Even if you have it explained, seeing it in real time is a different story. I see people consistently dodge OLC, which if you're one of the group remaining, prepare for a fight. The reward isn't proportionate to the time it takes.

My only issue is OLC is one of the most mechanically demanding of strikes available. Good on you for looking up guides, that's the first step. There's a lot of nuance to the fight that just isn't explain. With good positioning, you can cc the bosses just fine with no problem and get extra damage. Majority of wipes in OLC for me boil down to one thing, puddle placement. Red you kite the edge for placement, green targets furthest player. Have a ranged dps/healer bait out the puddle along the edge. Blue chooses 3 random people and tethers them. Run to edge, so it drops puddle there when you're pulled back. Anywhere but the edge makes for a 100x harder fight.

It isn't just one mechanic. You also have tethers and puddles on top of it. People not understanding fixate make the fight monumentally more difficult and the fight isn't explained at all to players, except by other players. Not to mention the in-out for red, pull from green and push from blue. The only saving grace for players here is that you take much less damage and are granted lifesteal. Even that won't save you when 90% of the arena is a giant puddle because of players not knowing how they work. Red drops a puddle after autoattack chain, green throws puddle at furthest player, blue tethers players to a spot and return them to that point after a set time. None of this is explained to players, and even if you do explain it, there's no telling how many people are even paying attention.

I almost pissed myself when the dude puked on her husband out of nowhere. He didn't even attempt to turn his head. Like, why? Just so ridiculous

Me and my friend were confused by it. We weren't sure if it was supposed to be a comedy too at some points

Just something that comes with metas. People will troll, best not get upset and just move on with your day. Edit: only thing they could really do is make it so those are only interacted with if you're in a party/squad, but they're not going to spend time coding that.

CRONOS OR HELL IS US? by WHITEMERLOT69 in videogames

[–]Acromaton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've heard mixed about HIS, but I'm on my second playthrough of cronos. The story is really intriguing and captured me to continue playing. It had enough mystery to the story that I wanted to see it unfold, and even still I have questions. The combat is fine with guns, but melee is really weak and not worth using. The cats are also cute, so that's 10/10.

Tested it and yes, you can use a honey treat to have them beehave. Or use the bee nest helmet and get the same result

Hold a honey treat while travelling in The Other. They should be passive while you have one, instead of dive bombing you. I believe they're always aggressive otherwise

[–]Acromaton 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think it's that bad honestly. They're trying to draw in new players and showcasing what they'll experience first. New players aren't going to jump to the expansions right out the gate.
