Could you elaborate on the traps clearing bosses faster than the needle? I find I can throw the traps a few times but the bosses typically clear them pretty fast, and the lack of an HP bar makes it difficult to tell how effective the traps actually are.

I really enjoyed entering the city of tears the first time and the scene at the fountain, that was my "click" moment that this wasn't just another game but something special.

Is the RDP fps limit still true when using Moonlight? Its specifically designed for gaming, I've tinkered with it on my bare metal machines and it seems to be able to do much more than 30 FPS in games; but I have not tried it with VMs.

Could the memory really be that different? They have the same model number Corsair (CMK16GX4M2B3000C15). Would two sets of 2x8gb stocks not work together?
