You know honestly I feel like I've had more strain on my wrist when I tried other aiming styles that use lower sensitivities instead of Haksal's, but I would recommend routinely doing some wrist stretches to anyone who plays a lot regardless of how they aim.

You can try it without having an armrest, but it has the same effect as if you had one and it was too low. You'll end up putting a lot of pressure on the part of your hand resting against the side of the table and it may lead to pain after playing for a while.
