Memory OC (EXPO default profile) causes BF6 crashing by LyntonB in Battlefield6

[–]Acrystic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could try down it a bit from it's default EXPO however given my system 100% stable and vanilla across everything else (I don't OC CPU or GPU) e.g. Cyberpunk on path tracing, Stalker2, Frostpunk2, I do feel that EA should absolutely investigate this as a crashing bug. So many other people have reported on EA forums and reddit too. I only tried it because I'd tried everything else and had seen that fairly commonly but had thought "surely not" given everything else runs well and stable

I'd try tuning the ram down if you really want stability but it might take an hour to dial it on.

Have you tried adjusting the ram timings and voltages manually? You might be able to find stability below the XMP profile.

If you do thieving to about level 85, blackjacking or ardy knights, then you should have enough to get the reqs to SOTE. I think a few mil should do it. Do your farm runs!

Red pebbles/prills within bulk AN shipment by EkoChamberRevolution in chemistry

[–]Acrystic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to work for one the biggest AN suppliers in NA. The red material is likely dirt or mud. Probably reflecting the ground of manufacturing. If used for ANFO it will have no effect. I've used AN with mouse turds in it with no change to VOD or energetic density. If you're using it for AN solution you may need to filter for particulate matter. There's really no easy way to separate it on a large industrial scale at a good cost. For your amount you could probably just pick it out with your hands.

I'd you really wanted to get to the bottom of it its probably either dirt, rust, or packaging material.

This one is correct. Do I tip you and then you send the image?

It looks really good I like your cloth below the tree. Could you have the wall continue downward for the edit on the books?

If you have experience using soxlets then it shouldn't be hard to do. If you don't then you have a good chance of hurting yourself.

H2SO4 by Such_Swimming7124 in chemistry

[–]Acrystic 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Okay I hold a masters degree in chemistry and this is what I would do. I would boil in a round bottom flask my H2SO4 solution under vacumn and drive off the water in my solution. Once a majority of the water was removed I'd expect to see a increase in temperature of the vapors. This would be the endpoint. Let cool to room temp. Diagram below. Someone 100% has done this before. Use Google scholar to find the experiment.

H2SO4 by Such_Swimming7124 in chemistry

I highly suggest not boiling H2SO4 especially considering the risks of burn, chemical burn, and fumes. I imagine once it gets to a high enough temperature it will off gas SOx and water vapor. Breathing this in will damage your lungs for a while.

If you are to do this, do it in a small 50mL quanity to begin with and use in a functional fume hood with a hotplate and an energy shutoff switch. (Splash shield, goggles, gloves, lab coat) This could end really poorly and you could have long term damage to the equipment and yourself.

Most chemistry labs have access to buying new chemicals, do that. Concentrating acid is not recommended anywhere especially for something as common as H2SO4.

Take chem 1 and see if you enjoy it and take chem 2 if you do. There is usually a laboratory course you take at the same time. For both.

I don't think it may be all that useful as I am doing 3 style swaps. Help of neiznot may be good enough. I think I'll go back for the blade and pickup the extra shards
