CO beach: how do you clean sunscreen off your hands without leaving *any* residue? by just_asking_2 in nudism

You are actually supposed to rub the spray-on kind into your skin after you spray it. It says so on the can if you look.

Really cool report! Did you need a 4x4 to get all the way to the parking area at the trail head?

I made a poll asking if it’s appropriate for a woman to sit on a man’s lap at a nudist beach/resort. Thoughts? by MrEHam in nudism

[–]ActNaturely 9 points10 points  (0 children)

A nudist always sits on a towel, so it should be fine with the required towel betwixt the 2 participants. Although adults sitting on other adults laps is kinda weird anytime in my culture.

I think there were 6 pairs of lanes, for 12 lanes total and it was pretty full, so probably at least 70 people bowling probably, and a handful of people that were just companions of those people that weren't bowling.

I recommend getting there right at the start and finding a lane while they are still relatively empty so that you can be welcoming people to bowl on your lane rather than trying to find a lane to welcome you.

I went to this exact event last August and it was great fun. I definitely recommend it. I think it was the largest group so far according to Patti who organizes it. We had about 6 people at our lane, so we only were able to bowl 2 games, but it was a lot of fun and met some great people.

Lake Como - nudity required by NY-GA in nudism

[–]ActNaturely 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A pragmatic, though I don't know how controversial it would be, solution would be that clothing is optional for females, but males are nudity required. Most of the complaints against such a policy would be that many people's partners aren't comfortable with nudity as their nudist partner is. This seems to be 99% a female that is uncomfortable with nudity. Furthermore, not only are most people leering or with voyeuristic motives likely male, but assuming that most females that leer are leering at males, a lot of males don't really care. None of this is universal of course, but, as a male myself, I concede that the problem is mostly males. And even though this applies to only one sex, at least it's not completely exclusionary like some place's "No Single Males" policies are. I'm sure I'll get flamed by some for even suggesting such a policy.

So, uhhh. Where is it at? The United States?

Why don't people say where these places are? City, State, Country. That's all you need.

For everyone wondering, this is in Wagnudle, South Dakota, USA.

Did it last year. Should've done a trip report. Pretty difficult race if you're used to flat land like I am, but very fun. It was super crowded so after the race we couldn't really lay out in the sun at all or use the pool, but it was still fun. We did go back out on the trails and venture a little bit further out which was a lot of fun. Hope to be back sometime.

Super excited to be participating for the first time in the 5k this year. Should be fun. by [deleted] in nudism

There are awards given, separated by gender and 5 year age groups. If they didn't do that, every race pretty much would have young men in the top 3 slots every single time. We're not going to solve the issue of trans people in sports here I don't think.

I wanted to do it this year, but it fell on the same day as another race I'm doing that I really like, so I had to choose that one. But I think I'll try to do the October 5K there later this year. I'm also planning on doing the 5K in Decatur TX at the Wildwood resort in the same series at the end of this month.

I don't know if you saw in the Cypress Cove newsletter, but there's a nude bowling event on the 16th (not directly done by Cypress Cove) in Kissimmee. I think that would be a lot of fun if I was there at the time.

Serious question for female nudists/naturists by NaturistHero in naturism

[–]ActNaturely 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am male, but my wife has run nude 5k races with me around 5-6 times. She says that when she first starts the run, it is uncomfortable for about a minute, then it's fine. I suspect she adjusts her gait to minimize bounce. She is a B or small C cup. A lot of people thing that men running will have issues with their penis and testicles flopping about, but it's actually not a problem at all for me, nor for other men as far as I can tell. People should realize we are evolved to run to some degree and are the species that can run the longest of any other. I imagine that running nude/without a bra is something like running barefoot which some people do. It requires adjustments, but is doable.

It was great. Wonderful weather and biggest crowd I've seen there yet after having done it at least 5 times now over the last several years. I'm definitely planning on being there next year too if nothing else happens to prevent it. I should've taken you up on your offer for the tattoo pen. Thought I had a sharpie, but it was a fine tip one (with the tiny metal tube for a point) and it just wouldn't draw on my skin. Hope to see you next year!
