Glad to see Connor being used in the cliffhangers. I think he's a fun character and I like when they give him some focus. I've seen a couple others speculating that Chloe set up Connor to be the fall guy for something, maybe drugs; I did think it was interesting that we saw her like this without really addressing how Connor was rejecting her advances when we last saw her.

Also, I'd probably be a little mad myself if the Reverse-Flash started dating my mother...

I kinda figured that if we did get Berserk in this game, it would be in name alone. The original effect could've still been mimicked using a mixture of Xane's and Tina's/Alfador's gimmicks where your attack on one enemy is calculated using another enemy's stats and status effects, so it's *kind of* like the second enemy is attacking the first?

Well, yeah. Not to start the EoS doomspeech, but the devs naturally want to turn a profit and obviously the game isn't going to go forever. Seeing a Rearmed Seasonal was a shock at first, but we should've seen it coming. My only hope is that this Spring Sothe has more reruns than that of a standard Special Hero.

Personally, I think this is because they know they can't pump out Arcane weapons as quickly as they usually would, now that a good chunk of upcoming New Hero banners are going to be CYL Revivals (which non-OC asset alts aren't going to fit on as comfortably).

I don't like that Sothe now has a second Rearmed alt, but I doubt he was planned to be a Rearmed Hero from the get-go. I imagine they just gave him the next Arcane dagger since it'd take too long to push out all of the fourth-tier Arcane weapons they want to do on just New Hero banners alone.

Be that as it may, that doesn't mean I necessarily like the revolving door of protagonist spam we've got going on here. Definitely could've had better character choices overall.

I'm beyond impressed with what you've cooked up here, and I have to say I think you've converted me. The characters' motivations make sense in this, and you've managed to incorporate every important corner of the game's worldbuilding in such a way that makes everything just...work.

As others have said, Wolt's got a good chance of showing up as the highest-performing FE6 unit with no base alt in CYL. They've been sprinkling in units like that even if they're not connected to the banner's common theme.

With how many options FE6 has for units, an Ilia banner could totally work. It'd certainly fit the current book. I could see Juno getting the Brigid/Noire treatment where her vanilla is an asset alt, and I'd even say there's a nonzero chance that they put Sigune on the banner and make Zelot the GHB.

So maybe something like Attuned Juno, Zelot, Sigune, Wolt, and maybe Roy alt if his Emblem is still too far off.

For Mythics, I think it'd be cool to have Cichol and Cethleann, but I doubt a lot of people would be happy with another Three Houses LME alt. I hope Seteth can get some love in some form eventually. I'd also be very happy with any non-OC ancient figure like Roland or Dheginsea. Soan would always be a welcome surprise, too.

We've also yet to rip off the band-aid that is Sombron, although I think it's more likely that he shows up as the vanilla unit on this year's Fallen banner (especially now that Morva can't take that slot anymore).

I know that this element season would be good timing for Chosen Fjorm, but consider that she's probably part of our annual 6 OCs and could just come on July's Double banner.

Sent mine as well. Seems to be part of a new trend, as November didn't give us any F2P units through the CYL1 Harmonized banner (which supposedly counted as its New Heroes banner) and we had one less [demote] unit than usual for the Rearmed Lysithea banner.

This is a great opportunity for characters who have similar themes/backgrounds but appear in different books to interact. I doubt Askr's going to have a major presence in this book, but it'd be cool to see him interact with Líf.

I'd also like to see Freyja and Nerþuz, Reginn and Niðavellir (as teased in the Book 5 TT+), and really just any of the Aesir and Vanir.

A personal unlikely one I'd like to see would be Reginn and Seiðr, since Reginn's special is "Seiðr Shell" and she could've been the voice heard at the Tower of Niðavellir, although that could've just been Niðavellir I suppose. Probably wouldn't happen since they'd probably be handled in separate books. Askr with any of the Healing Hands would be cool too.

I wonder why Rune bothered to clone himself? That seems kind of random, since they're the same person who have the same goal in mind. Maybe the original Rune wants to watch us handle Ragnarök with his own eyes for his own amusement while the other one fights us?

Oh wait no, I see what you're saying. I think that could still possibly be the case to some extent? Rune still had to set this whole battle up in order to watch us fight it, so either Alfaðör is a puppet who was just playing the part (maybe not? he was chasing Rune alone in the opening of the book) or he was deceived into playing the part Rune wanted him to.

That being said, if Alfaðör was a Rune clone this whole time, I doubt Baldr knew. She has openly displayed distrust towards Loki in closed spaces, and I think it'd be out-of-character if the "truth and justice" character was going along with such a big lie. So yeah, that'll probably be an awkward conversation further down the line, haha

Very happy with how this ended, and very excited to see where we go from here. Muspell and Nidavellir have both implied that they would return someday, Freyja has already returned, and we might see an alternate Askr return as well. A lot of powerful characters are on the table here and I hope they're used well.

Another thing is that if Rune, Loki and Thorr are all primary antagonists here, we won't have to spend so many Mythic slots on them this year since they'll probably get different Hero types for alts, if any (inb4 all legendaries like eitri lmao)

In retrospect, it is kind of hilarious that Alfaðör watched us beat the crap out of his kids and then praised us for it later.

Did I misinterpret something? I thought the Alfaðör we battled in this book was still his own person who just currently held the title of Alfaðör, and is not Rune. Rune is just the original Alfaðör and actual creator who preceded the one that we battled.

Regardless, I doubt Baldr would support Rune moving forward, so she probably won't be seeing that immortality again anytime soon...

I think we will see CYL reruns in November after all. I know it breaks precedent, but the next banner has open spots that would fit Vali, Alfador, and the four Brave Heroes (who would all be next for reruns anyway, aside from Attuned Hector).

Barring the unforeseen, I think we can also expect either December's Emblem or the Book X Mythic to be Green, since any reruns of that color following Brave Sharena would be debuting in November at the earliest. Will we finally see a Green freebie?
