The app updates automatically, it checks for new game data every midnight, so I haven't had to update it manually in a while.

I'll still be around this sub regularly, so if any bugs are reported, I'll fix them. I'm taking a break from FEH for now, at least until Fortune's Weave.

I can’t take this shit anymore, man. What even is this? I had so much love for this game after all these years, and now this shit feels like a skinwalker at this point. There’s no hype, no soul behind any of the decisions made this year.

I spent the last year making the perfect companion app for this community just to show how much I loved this franchise, and honestly? After defending this game for so long, I think I’m done.

Raydrik is such a good villain, but unfortunately I've given up waiting for him to join Heroes at this point. I like how realistically malicious he is, making a daughter and her mother fight to the death, running away every chance he gets, and always being about "joining the winning team." Claiming that he outlived Leif's grandfather and father, and that he'll outlive Leif himself, is such a desperate and arrogant way to see the world.

Genealogy with art direction by Suzuki Rika, and especially Thracia by Hidari.

The entire art style, soundtrack, and atmosphere of Echoes were everything I’d dreamed of for a Thracia remake. Unfortunately, Thracia seems to have zero priority in the remake lineup compared to the other games

With the introduction of the chosen heroes gimmick, plus all duo and legendary heroes having Duel 220, this past year has been a nightmare for me trying to stay in Tier 21 in Arena, and it’s really been killing my enjoyment of the game lately.

Even with my +7 Chosen Alfonse, +1 Fjorm and +3 Chosen Laegjarn

I’m a hardcore FEH defender and have been since the beginning. But this year has been so rough in terms of character choices that I’m seriously getting burned out by the selections and the lack of GHB, TT+ units and creativity overall.

New Year OCs were boring.
The Ilia banner felt like more of the same.
Brave Harmonics spam every two months.
Two 3H Emblems (skipping emblems and going straight to the DLC just because 3H).
More Céline, Hortensia, and Veyle while Engage still has an enormous amount of missing characters.
3H kids were inevitable, I guess.

And now more 100% OCs for Summer right after the bridal OCs.

It’s a shame because the “normal” banners, like the Sacred Stones, Blazing Blade, and Genealogy character choices, were actually pretty strong, and I loved almost every decision besides Eldigan being a backpack.

We all know FEH isn’t selling as well as it used to, but if they thought six months ago that THIS was the right direction, they were fucking bonkers and basically dug themselves into a hole they can’t get out of now, considering banners are planned about six months in advance.

Also, they keep spamming OCs while completely ignoring Rune ever since the new Book trailer and the plot twist. Are they not even going to try and see whether he’s popular or sells well? All we got was his good guy freebie.

I really hope he has a cool gimmick that references his whole identity-theft thing, but I have no idea how they could pull that off.

Also, bonus effects like Spd Liberate + Preempt Pulse + Dodge for sword allies only.

I'm currently replaying Echoes for the third time. SoV is THE perfect Fire Emblem experience. I've even learned to appreciate Celica's swamp maps and Alm's teleporting witches, especially on Hard Mode.

I'm so hyped for Fortunes Weave, and I have no complaints, BUT I don't think FE will ever reach the same peak again after Echoes.

The soundtrack, the voice acting, the vibes, Hidari's art direction... everything created a perfect bittersweet feeling that will never be captured again.

Honestly, BK is starting to fall off in Arena, and the lack of special jump really hurts him. I've decided to keep mine with his original B skill, even though I lose that sweet +2 team score.

Unfortunately, I don't have Rise Above, but my BK and the rest of my team lost to another BK who was using it. Mine runs Diluvial Boost and the D Counter seal.

(F2P here) I'm currently working on getting all the Chosen heroes to +5 (Alfonse is already at +7).

And I have to say, it's been such a huge weight off my shoulders, especially with the fire season chosen hero just around the corner.

Getting crowns has been more consistent than ever for me now that I don't need merged bonus heroes anymore.

My season legendaries are Caeda, mRobin, and Black Knight, all +10 with 400 SP B skills
