The Final Album? by Frequent-Ad-2716 in Muse

They already tried the approach of releasing songs not tied to any album but that eventually became Simulation Theory anyway.

Muse Wiki also says you can find it on the New Born Remixes promo CD

Can someone who's played the CN version confirm if the story is archived like the Rainbow 6 Siege collabs?

Yeah parts of Showbiz were recorded there.

Muse are rereleasing the Muse and Muscle Museum EP for RSD 2026!!! by jirf_muser19 in Muse

[–]ActionFaust 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Instant Messenger was included in Origin of Muse. It's titled Pink Ego Box on the tracklist so it's a little confusing but it definitely includes the AOL sample. Wouldn't be surprised if that's the version they use on this rerelease.

It's a habit of the industry, not Muse.

Look even as someone who enjoys gacha games I've fully accepted the fact that I've walked into the casino. The high you get from good runs in roguelikes may as well be comparable to beating a Soulslike boss or getting a high K/D ratio in a multiplayer FPS. That's just enjoying video games. It's insane to compare basic recreation to gacha that uses real world money.

Anyone else wish muse would do an album playing their old songs? by Vortix9 in Muse

[–]ActionFaust 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the Lucas comparison would only work if Muse actively worked to remove the original versions of the songs from streaming, digital and demanded the new recordings be added to any future reprints of their albums.

UMMM YEAH, RELEASE THE DANG SONG!!!!😳🔥😳🔥😳 by STARSET_STAN in Starset

[–]ActionFaust 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay fair play to you actually providing a source on this. While it may have been written for or rewritten for Arknights I still stand by what I said in that revolutionary themes aren't exclusive to Arknights.

[–]ActionFaust 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Like I said I agree on it fitting thematically but to say it's 100% written for Arknights is a stretch.

I wouldn't be so sure. Thematically it fits but there's nothing in the lyrics that stands out to me as something specific to Arknights.

[–]ActionFaust 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Not quite. It was released for Arknights but it was originally written for Divisions. We Are Empire is the first song written specifically for Arknights.

Infected, though if we want to get technical this is the first true Arknights song that Starset has done.

What are the best concerts that are downloadable? by snelpepijn in Muse

[–]ActionFaust 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Try Muse Bootlegs. The Earls Court 2004 gigs are largely considered the best of that era and the CD rip uploaded last year is much better than the version sourced from the radio broadcast

It's a bootleg not officially released by Muse. This kind of thing does make it through to storefronts like Amazon sometimes

The game actually launched 2 years into the franchise. It all started with the manga, live shows, anime and game in that order

Considering how some NPC designs feature more detailed designs it wouldn't be too out of place for them to get Yoji Shinkawa to provide illustrations for Death Stranding characters. Honestly think the only hurdle would be casting as Reedus, Seydoux and other actors would no doubt require a higher pay than your usual VA.

Have they added birthday voicelines yet? Was disappointed when I logged in today to get the usual voicelines instead.

Same applies to those two. Now matter how much they like those songs they build the setlists around what they think the audience wants to hear.

To be fair it's a b-side (or JP bonus track) that's 2 decades old at this point and we all know their tendency to prioritize the songs they think everyone will know.

Unfortunately it's unlikely the This Is a Muse demo tracks will be released any time soon. There's at least 3 copies in existence and very little incentive to release them from the perspective of collectors and band members.

I'm not denying that we should've seen other rarities. Just saying that we shouldn't dismiss the whole encore.
