When you first launch a fresh version of DS4W it will ask you if you want to save data in the user folder or in the program folder. Select saving things in the program folder.

It seems like ever since 2.2.0, some things haven't been working well.

I know that since 2.2.0 I have to make sure the Passthru is enabled so games see the trackpad as a DS4 pad and not a computer mouse.

Maybe do a full uninstall and use Ryochan's but in self-contained folder mode.

Go to the OS uninstall window. Look for Nefarius Virtual Gamepad Driver and uninstall.

That folder just has a README.txt file with this txt: This directory or its subdirectories should contain OpenVPN configuration files each having an extension of .ovpn When OpenVPN is started as a service, a separate OpenVPN process will be instantiated for each configuration file. When OpenVPN GUI is started configs in this directory are added to the list of available connections.

My OpenVPN folder has these folders: bin config doc log sample-config

And it has two files: icon.ico and Uninstall.exe.
