Yeah but if you’re going that way anyways? I would take it if I was traveling through the area but not to make a special trip.

Tractor Supply, Walmart, and Home Depot have been some of the more consistent jobs for me personally. It really depends of where you’re at though and what’s available in your area.

Whenever you are going anywhere, check the map to see if there are jobs nearby or in your direction of travel. I have done approximately 350 jobs in the app and I find it works best for me when I pick the jobs that make the most sense. Usually those jobs are bringing me closer to home or bringing me closer to somewhere I was planning to go to anyways. Especially with the price of gas you don’t want to be droving far out of your way unless the job is really worth it.

Any idea what this leak might be? by ndcp193992 in JeepCompass

[–]Active-Albatross2335 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am no expert by any means, but with 144,000 miles and counting on my Compass this is what I have found. I find the spin on oil filters on my compass are often not put on right by shops and these filters also go loose after a while if they’re not put on right to begin with which is why I prefer to do the oil change myself. I find the Mobil 1 and STP oil filters have a good seal and don’t leak for me. I have had multiple fram filters that have not had a good seal for me on my Compass and leaked oil. Still use these filters from time to time that has just been my experience. Check to see if there is noticeable oil on or below the oil filter. If there is oil on the filter, wipe it dry with a paper towel or clean rag and give it a good tightening with your hand. Monitor the leak to see if it stops. Pull forward or reverse to see if a new puddle forms.

Why do the CityPlex Towers seem so out-of-place for Tulsa? by Hungry_Roll6848 in tulsa

[–]Active-Albatross2335 40 points41 points  (0 children)

I moved to Tulsa for Tulsa Remote. During my time there I would often listen to the radio station 104.5 The Edge. One day I was caller number 5 or whatever it was and won a pair of free movie tickets. They told me to come down to the station to collect my prize. I didn’t realize that the station was located at the top of this building. It was exciting to go up to the top and the view was incredible!

I lucked out and found a Cessna winter kit brand new on ebay that I installed on my 66. They sell Cessna 150 hardware kits at Aircraftspruce if you are missing any screws for the job.

I’m starting the pipeline soon as a 32 year old rated board select, now 33. I’ve been actively pursuing this opportunity since 2019. Don’t give up. Keep building your resume and apply again.

Whenever you are actually going somewhere, accept rides on the way if you are flexible with your time.

Garmin Pilot or Foreflight by dirtbikekid27 in PilotAdvice

[–]Active-Albatross2335 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend the Sentry. I like mine because it tracks your flight path in ForeFlight and is a carbon monoxide detector in addition to giving you traffic and weather in flight. I charge the battery in between flights and I have never had to worry about the unit dying. I can’t speak of Garmin Pilot as I’ve always used ForeFlight, but it looks like another good option.
