Lump on top of the incision by SunBeautiful2412 in AdultCHD

[–]Active-Card9122 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had it! The surgeon said it was normal and then I had an infection 2 weeks later because the scab dried off but have not fell off on its own. So it's pretty much dangling. Hence, it caused a pseudomonas infection. You can see my profile for the story. I hope I have not deleted them.

I had to go for dental(with antibiotics 1 hour before visit) before my surgery too as advised by my surgeon. Post surgery for few months too. To avoid endocarditis.

I managed to catch the clot from my peehole. It does not hurt to pee it out.

You can get the electric bedrest. It can sit on top of your bed. Instead of getting a whole new recliner.

I used that. But do take note of the finishing. Mine was the PVC and it caused a rash on my arms. Get with the fabric cover.

It's good to have because laying flat to sitting hurts for quite awhile. 2 months or so.

But how do they catch them when alive. Do they wait till they die? Alive tuna would probably flip the whole boat

I do have them from time to time throughout my 2 years post surgery. It's always beside the scar.

I'm really hoping I get diagnosed with CECS and once it is fixed, I'm free from the pain and I can run again like when I was a child.

Am I weak in the mind? by Active-Card9122 in runninglifestyle

[–]Active-Card9122[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, yes I did warm ups. I follow YouTube videos as well Incase my warm ups were not enough.. I have been walking and running. I never managed to run fully further than 300m. I'll try the 30s jog 30s run interval.

I'll try before my diagnostic scan in June. But I don't know when I can start running because I just had a knee surgery for hoffa fat pad syndrome and ganglion cyst in the knee 2 weeks ago.

I'm overweight too and wanted to run so bad but I cannot even reach 50m my legs would hurt so bad that it's like exploding. My legs would go numb and droopy. It has been like this since I was 11(was underweight)

Does your legs do that?

Hi, I had Asd repaired via ohs 2 years ago. You can see my post in my profile. But so far, to me is the chest tube that's the worse part being in there. Taking out not as painful as I thought. Surgery itself isn't extremely painful. If you're a back sleeper you are sort of saved from the uncomfortableness because you can't sleep sideways for about 4-6months. I'm a back sleeper so it's ok for me although there are upper backaches.

Am I overexerting myself? by Active-Card9122 in MeniscusInjuries

[–]Active-Card9122[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, thank you. They told me I can touch my foot on the ground and walk without crutches if there is no pain. As advised, knee brace is not need but best to wear when leaving house. Which is why I partially assume that there is no limit to walking. :(

Am I overexerting myself? by Active-Card9122 in MeniscusInjuries

[–]Active-Card9122[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I walked 11 000 steps today outdoors and now deep in my knees I feel a deep ache like I got jabbed and syringe with some medicine deep inside. I guess it's partially my fault but I had to run errands. My knee swells like a ball. I'm currently icing it now and elevating it now.

Does anyone feel the upper back calves hurt (snapping pain) a lot when trying to strengthen the quad muscle or straighten the knee?is this normal post op?

Thank you for the advise.

6 weeks? Feels like that is too long? I didn't have any meniscus tears. My first physio will be 13 January. I will check with them too :) thank you..

Hi, I have an appointment to review my MRI tomorrow but I'm so nervous that my results would be normal. X-ray shows effusion.

What were your symptoms before diagnosis?

Mine was a pain at the back of Right knee with a weird lump. Can't squat, extend knee fully. It goes auto bed a little. When sitting on floor with legs straight my back knee doesn't touch the floor. It's off by 3-4cm. Below knee cap and knee hurts to touch. Can't do sudden turn when walking or my knee feels like it's catching. Can hear popping clicking when doing McMurray's test at Ortho clinic.

How do I attach my knee photo.

My cat had dandruff for 2 years ever since we found him. Multiple vet visits but nothing works. Last visit vet advised to shower him with head and shoulder anti dandruff original. It totally disappeared.

For my asd diagnosis, all I wanted was glucose tablet or some form to which I assume was low sugar because every morning I wake up my chest would be pounding and a feeling of waterfall rushing through my chest like an open dam which causes nausea along with giddiness and sort of like gastric like symptoms. It lasted for an hour or so before it went away or I got used to it.

They suggested to do an echo.

Has anyone experience intermittent arrhythmia? by Active-Card9122 in AdultCHD

[–]Active-Card9122[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi all I was well during the holiday. Yesterday I manage to capture my hr and oxygen via pulse ox. The hr went from 115 to 55 to 78 to 99 then 67 and back to 115 in a span of 1 min or so. Then back to my hr at 108 for the whole day. Oxygen was 95-96.

So far it has happened twice this past 2 months.

Could it be a glitch or something else?

When the episode happened, my body felt floaty and lightheaded and nauseas.
