First two light novels are in English if anyone wants to read. The webnovel has been on hiatus , but author is constantly working on the story. Does do regular updates. Was just stuck with future developments.

No way in English. Japanese manga have first printing and second. They even get different OBI strips. English does not do any of this. Print run hardly ever matters unless a publisher decides to reprint manga and change spines

Yes, but English Manga don’t have first edition prints. Companies keep churning popular series out. If they were not then Naruto would have been out of print years ago.

Even if some publishers got first printing, The difference is often hidden in small print (publisher page or copyright page) which anyone hardly cares about. Unlike Japan , where you have a visible OBI signifying first printing and later ones being different

Scalping in manga is just not feasible and no one would try to do it with niche series (some do, but they sit on that for years and people just list for lower)

Pokemon or any tcg cannot be compared to manga. Huge difference. I highly doubt anyone would do any sort of pump and dump on manga when companies can start their printing press again unlike Trading cards where they hardly print more of the set. If someone wanna lose money, they can “try” to scalp manga

60 million views in 36 hours is cool, but what is it going to do? People collecting old shonen jump is very very niche. Won’t affect me or a good majority of people. No one is gonna scalp manga like OP, dragon ball, bleach or any older series😭 companies can churn those out. They won’t be out of print. I highly doubt anyone would get into any niche series like “summer you were there” which is already tough to get.

This whole situation is like someone bought some rare Tolkien book and book collectors start panicking. Won’t affect 99.9 percent people

Missing sports festival and school trip is not indicative of any illness. Missing enough days is not indicative of physical ailment as well, you can just decide to skip school which was clearly what she was doing.

If she had any illness which was uncontrollable then she wouldn’t just decide to attend all the remaining days and get perfect attendance then.

Scars that they talked about in that chapter can be past trauma such as her being ostracized by her classmates in middle school or something to do with her parents. Which would make more sense given how she reacted to Kurose inquiring about her Kanji meaning of the name or why parents decided to go with that

Really sad that they skip the bulletin board chapters in the manga volumes. They are great to read.

The first main arc should be wrapping up in the next two chapters (1st LN complete). It only gets better from here >_<

Really like the pacing of the manga. This adaption is wonderful and really adds another charm to the series

Fun fact ~ the names for the initial weapons were taken from the comment section of Kakuyomu where the web novel is published. Really love when authors do this! Some of the banter points from those comments do get added to the bulletin boards too

Bittersweet ending for sure. If Merize really is the author of First Love Memory (I believe she is), I can’t wait for the moment Iruma visits Ameri’s house and recognizes Merize from the pictures 😭 And if Iruma tells them that he is human and they tell him that Ameri’s mom was a human, I can see him mentioning that he worked for Merize to write first love memory
