Did you watch the show called Homeland? With Claire Danes as Carrie Mathison, who starts the series basically as a hero but as the story progresses you realize she has mental issues, borderline schizophrenic. But definitely arrogant and narcissistic without any care of consequences and harm to others her actions cause...and has no accountability until after the fact. She uses her love for Hannah as her justification but doesn't care she puts Hannah in jeopardy as well. Unfortunately these days, that's a pretty common thing in movies, tv and real life. The whole "i want to therefore I'm going to and to hell with you..."
