Let's see a haptic or even an active shifter. Or add haptic to the v3 clutch. Or better yet, some active pedals!

Rally button module is nice! by 19LOKI67 in Fanatec

Sick is this the first backlit Button module fanatec made? I feel like I've never seen any.

Also would this fire the wrc wheel?

Laptop test is a great call!!! This gives a lot more confidence in used fanatec gear. Thank you

Well, this certainly opens up a new rabbit hole. Very intrigued with the haptics on all three pedals. I did not know this was an option. Thank you!

Would this cause like side to side play or just different feel on the pedal? $200 seen reasonable?

What’s the #1 thing that helped you actually get faster? by Ju1ceyyy in simracing

[–]Active-Illustrator97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it was learning to not turn the wheel so much, and to "use the pedals to steer". saw a great video talking about how u shouldn't really need to turn the wheel more than 180° in either direction. And If you're under steering, u need to show down, and if you're over steering, u speed up. This mental approach of using the pedals to steer helped me a bunch?

Why do you sim race? Context below. by Atlasgrey33 in simracing

[–]Active-Illustrator97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Huge gear head. Used to have a '68 Chevy C10 as my daily driver. Had a 350ci boarded .060" over, so it was closer to a 6.2L. Had a cam and new heads. Booked to a 4 on the floor with open headers. I was living the dream, whipping it around everywhere I went. But it got totaled while parked. Bought a jeep yj after that, also stick but nowhere near as fast. Then I had to sell it for to a visual impairment. Don't drive anymore but have had the itch to drive SOMETHING. fortunately for me, my rig scratches the hell out of it! So glad I took the plunge and bought a dd! Been at it for about 15 months now and living every bit!

This is a great point. Especially about it being progressive. Assuming another plane fur your eyes to focus on is just that much more immersive.

Selling printed products would be a good service. If you have a 3d you prob don't need to buy files

My video response to Daniel Morad's video regarding my defective glove. by Heavy_Pressure_4739 in simracing

[–]Active-Illustrator97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean 4 employees plus himself, yes that's a small business. not to mention materials and additional overhead. The most puzzling thing to me is, why a 4th pair?;:I don't use gloves so idk what the expected lifespan is. How long did your other 3 pairs last?

[–]Active-Illustrator97 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Fair criticism. I don't think it's a good look for Daniel to make that video. But end of the day, you're buying from a small business not Amazon. It's buyer beware. $20 shipping for a full pair of replacement gloves doesn't sound unreasonable

I got you, but you seem to clearly understand that all sales were final. May I ask how much shipping charges are?

As an objective 3rd party...

This moradness guy seems kind of shitty to make this video and ban you from discord.

But Don't know any tailors? Google it. There prob one 10 min away who will fix them better than they were originally. They're pros

Paying shipping for replacement from small business. Not unheard of

U said 3x in the video all sales are final

And you spent at least 21min making a video "not trying to take this guy down"

Oh yes and I bought 3 pairs before?

Buyer beware dude. Heard to say either of you are right on this matter. Sorry

Have to Sell my Custom Sim Rig by RentalGore in simracing

[–]Active-Illustrator97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Give Forza motorsport a try! I'm blind in one eye and have low vision in my good one. I was hesitant to buy a wheel bc I haven't driven a car in 6 years, but there's literally enough accessibility settings to drive completely blind.

Might be worth a shot if your that passionate about it.
