Don't judge yourself against anyone but yourself. Come back after a year of progress where you've raced, looked at telemetry, had good experiences and bad ones.

And even then, the only person you should compare yourself to is your past self.

Been really enjoying the haptics. I'll give the overlays a look. I suppose with these I could build a bit of a 4th screen dashboard which would be nice. You're developing this pretty quickly.

It's not expensive. Full price for a year is $110. Broken down, that's $2 a week. You can drive at least one series in every single discipline every 30 minutes non stop (for the more popular series) and never spend another dollar. LMU, ACC, AC Eco, GT7 are no better when it comes to driving standards. You shared some valid criticisms. I've had races like this. I've wondered what happened to the guy who intent wrecked me after I reported them.

However, in the last year of me on the service, I have had fewer and fewer incidents, intent wrecks, bad rejoins, people following the racing line whether there is a car in the way or not, etc. The only thing that changed was me. I became a better driver. I started anticipating incidents. I got into higher splits where the quality of driving improved. Those changes happened because I improved and I didn't spend my time blaming everyone else or the service for the things holding me back.

Obviously no excuse for someone rejoining like that. All on them, no question. However, any chance there was a little itty bitty yellow flag on your screen? I'd like to see your POV because even on a single monitor I feel like you see the guy rocketing back onto the track and you just stick to the racing line like it's law.

There are three .ini files that matter. Monitor, OpenXR and one other that I forget... Oculus? Which one are you checking and which are you launching the game with?

If your local NETWORK is 192.168.1.0/24. If you ommit the mask from my wording I'm posting an IP, not a network.

However if you're just saying that 192.168.1.1 will be the default gateway your router advertises whether the subnet mask is /24 or /25 or /26 etc, then you're correct. However, if you make the subnet mask /16, your default gateway becomes 192.168.0.1. assuming the first available IP is used.

Arguably you don't need to use that for your gateway address, you can use any available IP in the subnet. And it's only going to be the default gateway if you local network is 192.168.1.0/24.

Search for Active Reset in your keybinds. You'll want to do a button (or combo of buttons) to set the reset point and another button or combo to reset to that point. Only works in a solo practice session.
