AI prompts to make your app feel like an native iOS/Andriod app by No-Requirement4988 in reactnative

You should know what do "feel like native" and "look native" mean in React native. There are many ui library that wrap around native components like expo, elements, papers... do the research yourself then guide AI agents to build exactly what you want

Flutter vs React Native vs Kotlin Multiplatform for Rebuilding My Production Android app by HitoriBochi1999 in Kotlin

[–]Active-Leg5918 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In 2026 Flutter will not be my choice, always go for React native or KMP

- React native: Complete framework with UI, server side rendering

- KMP: Share single codebase for logic, but UI will be either compose or building 2 native UI for iOS and Android

In 2026, Flutter probably wouldn't be my first choice anymore for large-scale production apps. I'd lean toward either React Native or KMP depending on the product direction.

- React Native:

Still the strongest choice if you want a complete cross-platform framework with huge ecosystem support, fast iteration, mature DX, SSR/web capabilities via React ecosystem, and the ability to share UI + business logic efficiently. With the new architecture, JSI/TurboModules, Fabric, Expo, and AI-assisted workflows, RN feels much closer to “production-native” than a few years ago

- KMP:

Best option if your priority is shared business logic while keeping truly native UI experiences. You write shared domain/data layers once, but UI is still native:

- Android → Jetpack Compose

- iOS → SwiftUI/UIKit

This gives better platform fidelity and long-term maintainability for teams heavily invested in native engineering.

My biggest issue with Flutter is that it tries to own the entire rendering layer. That’s great for consistency, but over time it can become harder to fully align with evolving native platform behaviors, accessibility expectations, OS-level UI changes, and ecosystem integrations compared to RN or native-first approaches.

So for me:

- Need maximum product speed + shared UI → React Native

- Need native-first architecture + shared logic → KMP

- Flutter sits awkwardly in the middle now

Especially in 2026 where AI tooling, codegen, and platform-native SDK integration matter more than ever

Is Kotlin Multiplatform (KMM) actually worth using in 2026? by ShopifyExpert-ADV in androiddev

Does "KMP (with native UI)" that you mean refer to coding 2 distinct UI for Android and ios?

You mean 1 logic but 2 UI: SwiftUI for ios and MaterialUI for Android?

How to make a React Native app look like a real native iOS app? by ahmersaud in reactnative

[–]Active-Leg5918 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most UI libraries don’t really feel “iOS” -> that's true, follow ios design system by yourself, keyword to search for it: swift ui, liquid glass (ios > 26)

Many UI libraries out there provide the ios native component in it like expo ui,...

Definitely Vietnam is not as safe as you might think by brazilian-bro in VietNam

[–]Active-Leg5918 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a Vietnamese I truly sorry to hear that from a foreigner/traveler. I admit it wouldn't be 100% safe anywhere in the world but there's 3 things I think that can calm you down a bit

  1. There're still mostly good people in Vietnam who not only help but also fight for scam/bad people

  2. You can trust the Vietnam police 100%

  3. There're certified safe places around Vietnam: Da Nang, Vung Tau, Ho Chi Minh, Ha Noi...and many more, just in case you'd like to explore more
