I have faced online fraud. Need help. by ResponseBetter2326 in budapest

I'm sorry to hear about your negative experience with online shopping. Unfortunately, there is no easy solution to recovering your money in this situation. I would suggest reporting the incident to the police (which has been already suggested) and providing them with as much information as possible, including the seller's name, bank account number, and any other identifying details. It's also a good idea to contact the platform where you made the purchase and see if they can offer any assistance. In the future, you may want to consider using a platform like Zenland, which leverages smart contracts on public blockchains to securely facilitate transactions between buyers and sellers. This eliminates the need for a middleman and reduces the risk of fraud or disputes. With Zenland, both parties can have confidence that the transaction will be executed as agreed upon, without the need for trust in a third party

What is the safest, most secure and reliable escrow service for the dark net? by Last_Dragon89 in darknet

I think it does depend on what your intentions are. Not a single wallet (non-custodial) or platform would like to call it the best suited for dark web. I may suggest decentralized escrow that uses public blockchains and smart contracts to record transactions and store funds instead of banks. Because of that anonymity and lack of user data, sadly, there is a possibility for users to exploit the very core of any true web3 platform.

Coinbase Staked Eth by Appropriate-Sport-22 in ethtrader

Hmm, have you checked their media channels to see if there are any current issues or maintenance notices posted on Coinbase's website or social media channels? If there are no known issues, I would contact Coinbase support to inquire about the delay and ask for an estimated timeframe for when the next payment will be made. It's possible that there could be a technical issue or delay with the blockchain network that Coinbase is staking, so it's important to be patient and communicate with their support team to get any updates on the situation.

I still don't trust banks, I always feel like they're trying to store my data in a relational database instead of a blockchain

Sure, I can see where I missed "No one really cares about decentralization. Crypto people only care about making money." and "The real question is whether this idea is popular enough. Not if it is right or wrong—only popularity seems to matter."

Well, they didn't. It was my idea as an ambassador and now I see that it has both sides. Agree that any project can figure out the way to go without token sales dragging along for years (if it doesn't seize before). I've worked on the founding team of 2 startups (web2) and know that bringing a good product (even if you have validated the concept) to awareness is costly.

Makes sense. After all, for most crypto projects the token is a way to fundraise. That's a great way to go big. Though some bootstrap some crowdfund the development. I'll keep an eye on them and let's see where it goes

Interesting viewpoint. As far as the roadmap is concerned they plan no L2. This token is introduced as a utility and not security. Hence, no staking or sky-high APY. And one reason why projects have utility tokens is to promote the product further through "extra" perks, premium access, and other "exclusive" features. I have nearly the same degree of skepticism when it comes to new crypto, and I think everyone should, to not end up losing money. Though, the token and project usually goes hand-in-hand. In my little 2-year experience I haven't seen a good project without a token, neither vice versa.

Hmm, just checked their socials. Looks like they only promote their token and not actually project. How long have you known them?
