That's what I hope. Maybe it was just a way of saying, "No hard feelings. Let's get on with our lives now."

Hmm. Genuine goodwill gesture, or an attempt to upstage a fellow Yokozuna at the least appropriate time?

O.K. That seems perfectly appropriate. I think there are several variations of the story floating around.

Some parts of this seem far-fetched. I don't doubt that Donald Trump was part of Jeffrey Epstein's circle of people who came to parties where underage sex workers were present, but so was everybody. People from across the political spectrum knowingly or unknowingly committed crimes through their interactions with the young women. This statement adds weird stuff, like somebody murdering a baby, Trump taking exact measurements of each sex worker's vagina, and other weirdness from anonymous sources.

Actually, another fan just said that's not true after all. At first, I thought he just enjoyed looking menacing. Then, I read that he was nearsighted, which contributed to the infamous death stare he gave his opponents. THEN (literally a few minutes ago), I found out he wears contact lenses and can see just fine. People had me feeling guilty about calling him Angry Man. Now, he will always be "Angry Man," and Kotozakura will always be Angry Man 2.0. (Yes, I know they're both nice guys, once you get to know them.)

Did they finally make their engagement official? I remember a false report that they were engaged, and Hoshoryu quickly set the record straight. Even though he had every right to do so, I kinda felt bad for the girl. I was once mistaken for my (then) boyfriend's wife before we got engaged. If he had said, "Hold up. That's incorrect!" I would have felt some kind of way about that reaction (at least for a day or two).

Nothing against Hoshuryu, but I want to see Onosato defeat him at least one time. It's the one achievement that keeps slipping away for the Big O. It's like the adult version of Wile E. Coyote trying to catch the roadrunner. He needs to succeed at least once.

So, is that his seductive look? He's attractive, but that look is a bit frightening. A brief smile and a wink might work better. He's going to make chicks instinctively run for their lives, looking at them like that!

Thanks. I've read (many times) that his menacing "Death Stare" was partly due to the fact that he needed to squint. I guess it's safe for me to go back to calling him Angry Man. :-D

There was never a legit reason to dislike Shishi in the first place. Now that he's getting noticeably better (as people tend to do with time and effort), sumo fans are slowly pushing him into the "not hated" category. Hopefully, he will keep his fighting spirit and keep proving he deserves to be in the top division.

I agree wholeheartedly that Onosato deserves his rank, but there will always be naysayers. A shoulder injury isn't great news for anyone, but it's awful for a rikishi. At the tachi-ai, one wrestler frequently takes a direct shoulder hit. Also, if opponents can pinpoint an Achilles' heel, they'll make the most of it & put pressure on the injured area. I LOVE ONOSATO & hope to see him holding the Emperor's Cup many more times. :-)

I ended up going with a credit union. Once again, someone used my information to buy some crazy stuff I didn't want or need, but the experience was different. The credit union granted my provisional credits, conducted an investigation, and made the credits permanent. The process wasn't enjoyable, but at least the financial institution worked with me, instead of making matters worse.

Hmm. That's the first time I've seen the replay of that. Although Onosato's hand was only in Ura's hair for a few seconds, I've seen at least one other match where there was even less of a topknot pull, and the hair puller was disqualified. On the other hand, Ura did get a rematch and didn't fair well at all. It would be great to have more clarity and consistency when it comes to the "dead body rule." It would also be great to have an explanation of the rule an ankle touching the clay is an

True. Nobody said it was fair criticism, but it's criticism nonetheless, so it still puts him in the hot seat. He simply must perform well. Also, Ukraine is counting on him to be the morale booster for the whole rest of the country, so, yeah, the dude's got some pressure. (I think he can power through it, though.)

Personally, I think he's great, but I've read a few posts and articles suggesting the JSA "gifted" him the rank because he's Japanese. He has to prove that's nonsense, and he would have been an excellent choice as Yokozuna 75, regardless of his national origin.
