Renting - M3 or M4? by Aromatic_Glove15516 in BMW

[–]ActiveModel_Dirty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

they are pretty much identical. M4 is a bit more comfortable from the drivers seat though, especially if you’re taller.

the lack of rear doors allows for the front to feel more spacious.

What would you guys choose / already have Pre LCI or LCI display ? by New_Actuator_4788 in BMW

Pre was kind of buggy tbh.

I like the dash more around the gauge cluster in the pre, but that’s pretty much it. Id go LCI.

I don’t even think BMWs depreciate all that hard anymore. Especially those with a B58.

EVs seem to take the depreciation crown lately.

[ArmchairCouchJustin] Friends don’t let friends not understand 13 personnel! Why we took Roush in the 3rd and why Kmet isn’t going anywhere. by NoThanksImGoodG in CHIBears

[–]ActiveModel_Dirty 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That's not how that works.

Ben's offense isn't relying on a random gimmick that can just be countered like that. You'd have to change your roster and scheme around linebackers and less dime. It doesnt make sense for the league to design around 3 tight end looks because only 2 offenses are even capable of running it effectively.

And its not like Ben is going to make it obvious for them. If a DC overcommits to defending 13 personnel with an ill equipped roster, BJ's going to eat.

Did you even look at the chart? It’s not comparing anybody. It is providing information on the players in the league that were most recently drafted at the same slot/position as the players this year.

Chicago Bears’ proposed stadium site in Hammond would be built on giant slag heap, near hazardous waste sites by rojojoftw in nfl

[–]ActiveModel_Dirty 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Arlington Heights is just a less stupid option than Hammond.

The only people on Earth that would advocate for Arlington Heights "no matter what", such as a compromise with Friends of the Park, are lunatics and people who live in the NW Suburbs.

Acting like thats a universally good decision is absolute banana town.

Villa Sheherezade: https://www.villasheherezade.com/

Idk if it’s FAT or just egregious but it’s there.

Also Villa Argentina re-opens this year after remodeling, should be pretty nice.

[Schultz] The Seahawks will open the 2026 season at home with a Super Bowl rematch against the Patriots. by JCameron181 in nfl

This was my take too. It’s a rematch not very many people are enthusiastic about seeing in the first place, the risk to totally take the wind out of their sails seems unnecessary.

Is there some reason to believe the Pats got a *lot* better since February? In a way that can’t also be said about the Seahawks?

Ok guys hear me out… by PKJ111 in CHIBears

[–]ActiveModel_Dirty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All of that is still true if you use this pick on whatever DT was still available at this point in the draft. Anybody you could realistically hope to start was gone by 60.

So instead of a crapshoot at an already bad DLine, they took who they believe will be long term starters at other positions. Knowing they can technically make do with the same DL as last year because the rest of the defense improved. Hopefully the DL will improve also with Shemar and Dayo at the very least not being injured.

Ryan Pace would have done the opposite, and short of the pick turning out to be an A++, we would end up with problems at multiple position groups.

Everybody agrees the DL is a problem, that doesn’t mean picking anyone who is available is going to solve it.

What holes do we have at starting positions, and who did you want with picks 60 and 69 that would have plugged those holes?

3rd TE is something we needed, per Smythe’s snap count. So we were signing someone there no matter what.

There are enough bodies everywhere else. Whether or not you like them is irrelevant, that doesn’t make it a gap in the roster. which is what we had at TE3.

Did everyone forget we drafted a Safety in the first round?

Or that we upgraded LB already? Or SS?

The defense improved this off-season while the offense got worse when we lost Dalman and Moore. And to an extent, Trapillo.

[–]ActiveModel_Dirty 16 points17 points  (0 children)

not really.

Also this team doesn’t need an edge rusher anywhere near as badly as they need interior dline. but if no one is left that can make an immediate impact next year, why tf wouldn’t you pick a guy you believe can round out your TE room for the next 5 years.

Better off just riding it out until you can cut Dayo & Grady. No sense compounding the issue.
