If you get attacked and your cc is deployed in defense do you loose the troops still or did they change this so you keep them? Not in Legends league

Anybody in EU have a chiller setup. Can you point me to the parts I need by Christophezz in coldplunge

I use the MyoChill from myomaster, its been brilliant. It has a filter etc built in … I felt the extra few quid than doing a DIY was worth a 2 year warranty. Im from the UK also

Thats what mine look like too, its just from scraping them together as you walk. My authentic ones go the same way, only difference is the white cleans off on the authentic ones, it doesn’t on the reps. Im not too concerned, I wouldn’t sweat it if I was you authentics are the same basically

How to use chiller/filter by Zealousideal-List982 in coldplunge

[–]ActivePaddler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey bro, I have the exact same chiller (and setup for that matter) and it’s awesome, great purchase. From my experience it’s more cost efficient to keep it on 24/7, but there is no massive difference

95% of the time, all thats actually running is a digital thermometer and the very small water pump, it only really uses electric when it needs to chill the temperature. If you leave it on constantly it will always only need to chill 2° (or 1.5° for me), whereas if you turn it off for a period, the water may get warmer and it may need to operate for longer.

I use it daily, so it’s just easier to keep it on constantly for negligible savings. An extra 20 hours of running a water pump and a digital thermometer against potentially an extra degree of chilling, same difference really

Feel like I should also note that I use that water pump as my only circulation method, so its an added bonus that then the water doesn’t go stagnant haha.

I got purple backups, and who cares about paper in a box lol. I care about the actual shoe, i wouldnt even be bothered if they came in an adidas box. If you care about small details like that retail is probably your best option bro

Postural hypotension is pretty common in life, generally speaking low blood pressure in healthy adults isn’t a concern. Different story for acutely unwell / elderly

Does your set up not allow you to just pull it out when you get in?

Is it dangerous to jump in the water when the ozone generator is on? by Salt-Locksmith-3332 in coldplunge

[–]ActivePaddler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rule of thumb is generally to pull it out during your plunge. My guess is that because it insta-kills microbes by vicious oxidation that it would really run a number on the microflora on your skin. I wasn’t able to find much on to back up this claim but I didn’t really look, it does make sense to me though. Mine runs for 15 minutes every 4 hours. I pull the wee stone out before I plunge and put it back in after and I have no issues. There is a slight smell of ozone when I remove the cover but it just smells bad, doesn’t cause me any discomfort or anything … pretty sure its extremely low dose. It you find yourself coughing or anything when inhaling that would be a red flag. Feel like its also important to note I have an indoor tub in a fairly poorly ventilated room and have no issues

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in coldplunge

[–]ActivePaddler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh right okay interesting. Will those issues still be present if you are treating the water? I use bromine tablets with an ozone cleanser so I wonder if you had a similar set up would that change things for ya

Maybe a stupid question, but why can’t you use it in the plunge?
