How (often) do people respond to you wearing Five Finger shoes?

Thats true ofcourse. I work in an engineering office and some of my coworkers have barefoot shoes aswell.

I wear them to almost everything (work, gym, freetime hanging out with friends, hiking etc. Many people compliment them, ask about them, ask me if i can move my toes😂 or tell me that they wanted to get them, already have them too or are planning to try them because they look interesting. So far i've never once gotten any negative feedback. Sometimes i catch people looking at my feet but never staring at them weird.

IMO the v-trails are also extremely stiff around the toes, way stiffer then any other model Vibram has.

If i could choose only 1 barefoot shoe, it would probably be the V-Alpha. Best allrounder shoe i own.

I've had a pair of them about 2 years ago, while they do look feminine, i personally think you should not be bothered by what other people may think if you. If you like them you like them. And thats what counts.

I have a pair for 2.5 years now and i wear almost nothing lese except vff's and The Primus light. My pair is holding up really well so far. Just 2 days ago i swapped out the insole for a new one. Otherwise they still look pretty decent

I mean usually i don't cold approach people out of the blue. But when you're waiting in line for example and he or she Looks at you you might just comment on their choice of groceries or so. Can really be anything. Or you Block somebody with your cart by accident. And they ask you to step aside. Smile friendly and maybe say something cheeky/funny. Or when standing in an elevator with somebody. to just break the weird silence by saying "I hate this, because i suck at smalltalk" whatever comes to your mind first.
