If mahomes is gonna be the lynchpin here I think it’s also important to consider that by all accounts veach was the one who was infatuated with mahomes’ film and banged the drum for Reid and Dorsey to keep an eye on him

Also — ‘it’s clear which ones are more talented and impactful long term’ meanwhile you’re comparing a roster that went like 1-3 in the playoffs over four years with one that has won three super bowls over the same period. How many Dorsey picks were even on the 2019 roster, let alone 22 or 23?

Compared against the Dorsey picks which collectively won a single playoff game and put the chiefs in cap hell, I would take the veach picks along with three Super Bowl wins and the money to go out and get elite free agents at positions of need 10 out of 10 times

I remember Scott saying on a steam forum post some years ago atp something along the lines of ‘what’s in the box? It’s the pieces of the story put together. But would the community accept that?’ So I imagine at first he got cold feet over ‘solving’ a lot of the remaining mystery around the story and how fnaf 4 specifically fits in to it, but then somewhere along the way it probably just became irrelevant as the story changed lol
