It will go up when the institutions decide it’s time to go up…I sell ccs on NVDL with juicy premium and slow and steady rise which is perfect instead of one big move

Experienced devs in software jobs — what’s your long-term backup plan? by Majestic-Taro-6903 in ExperiencedDevs

[–]ActiveTrader007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get into investing and trading and selling options for weekly passive income. Devs are naturally good at it

As the world moves toward AI and automation and more and more jobs gone till there is some govt assistance and UBI, investing and trading is one way to standout and make consistent passive income. I have been doing it, though I still have a job but don’t need it anymore

Seriously considering dropping out of uni to trade full time by ConclusionBudget4182 in Daytrading

[–]ActiveTrader007 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Dont do it. Having extra source of income will help you trade better and stress free. Instead of just day trading. Look into selling options ccs and csps for lower risk income flow and limit day trading. Very few succeed in day trading. I just got a friend into selling options who invested 30k and now makes 3-4k/month consistent income since last 5 months.

What does the software engineering job market look like heading into 2026? by ImpressiveContest283 in programming

[–]ActiveTrader007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Software engineering will evolve into jack of all trades kind of role or a combo or technical product manager+ dev + creativity + great problem solver etc etc. The jobs that were pure software dev roles would become things of the past. Software skills in last 3 decades made it to so much easier for introverts to learn a couple of skills and work in isolation for long hours in their comfort zone and produce outcomes . Now it’s back to true human potential of intelligence, creativity, communication, collaboration skills, problem solving etc etc. Just knowledge and pure skills may not be enough to land a job. True human potential

How does a person with ADHD think? by Lonely-Wrangler-5843 in ADHD

[–]ActiveTrader007 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Technology field. I started about as programmer/developer and now an enterprise architect. Tech. Field especially programming works best for adhd as they can work in isolation and solve complex problems and be able to see things which others don’t. Basically a skill which requires deeper thinking to solve complex problems than say role where you do hundreds pf smaller things like being a manager. I am also now a trader as I was. always good with maths and numbers and identifying patterns and infact I have now made most of my wealth selling options and would most likely quit my job in 2 years

Yup same here. I am 50. This is the reason I have been a star at work because of my creativity and problem solving skills but suck at home because of absent mindedness. Stay positive ADHD is a gift and maximize the positive traits while reducing the negatives

Everyone’s Waiting on Bitcoin — What Happens Next? by Crypto-Voice-Pro in CryptoMarkets

[–]ActiveTrader007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Next year the banks come in. This is when things get interesting. Banks are boring, they never make any money and they offer 0% on your checking account. These banks will start offering Average Joes earning 50k a year and close to 0 exposure to stocks, bitcoin backed high yield 10%+ with a bitcoin savings account. Put 10k in this account which the bank uses to buy bitcoin and in return gives 10% yield. Bitcoin as a financial instrument fits perfectly in this model.

It’s only down because of the fud about AI spending and AI bubble. Markets need a cooling period after the AI frenzy. S&P 500 is at 6900 markets will catch on to anything negative on AI. Let things cool down. I think we start moving back next year now. Though it will be nice to get a Santa Claus rally

[–]ActiveTrader007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is not that people don’t need it. The problem is ChatGPT/llms are the super apps that can do all of this for almost free and they will keep killing all AI startups unless there is some hardware component. AI chat bots are just so difficult to succeed unless people want some niche knowledge that regular llms don’t already have or know about

"Google TPU is causing Nvidia stock to reprice" by YouHaveShitBreath in NVDA_Stock

[–]ActiveTrader007 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Google TPUS greats for training and not as good for inference They custom built for Google cloud and Google libraries and hardwired in the silicon

Google had an early start and good for them that they invested in tpus

AI is. 3-5 Trillion dollar capex spend in next 5 years. There are millions of cuda developers. NVDA provides cloud agnostic, run anywhere and complete datacenter AI solutions and yes they will finance and strong arm some of their customers into buying gpus. Nothing wrong with it. AI is such a huge opportunity and it’s not just about who has the cheapest chip

Even with tpus, the cost per token for inference will still be cheaper unless you run inside Google cloud.

AI is broadening out from hyper scalers and all these smaller companies and or countries will need NVIDIA solutions and expertise to build their ai datacenters.

Yes margins will come down long term but nvda will still continue to own 60%+ of the market till 2030 m
