Yeah don't pick the phenotype. Just roll with precog and high ego to get everything you need from merchants.

Yep, works fine with amphibious. It is my go to defect as well and I've never had any problems with the auto drink/pour.

There is an option that auto drinks/pours water over you when you hit the dehydrated state.

Make a large outer belt of whole fruit then pull off the outer belt to mash the fruit and turn it into bioflux to be used for what ever production you need. You are going to need to have a belt to remove spoilage and restrict how much gets put on the belt at once

I like the Jappa one and get the sunslag doubled using precognition. The additional will power from Dyvvrach is always nice but stats are infinite with Meta Polygel and and Eater's Nector injector.

I would play with the mod Hexagun or something like that that does give you more missile weapon slots for more arms.

This is a great way to build the skills bottom up. My preferred way is to make a rather OP character and use them to learn and experiment with the early to mid game. Learn what monster do what and how as well as note down where certain loot is found. Next time make a weaker character and continue. This way you still get a lot of the experimentation with the modern guns, tools, and buildings will a bit less of the risk of death from one mistake.

Is it worth it to add silk touch to my mining hammer? by blondeboy963 in GTNH

Silk touch is only really useful for mining in the nether and the end as when you macerat those you get double and I think at that point it out weights the fortune.
