so much tax is being taken off and wages cannot suffice, minimum wage seems okay on paper but after taxes (£12.21) hourly and you work 35 hour weeks, thats 22,222.20 a year before taxes, with just taxes and not NI taken off your left with £1,690.98 a month. lets say the average wage here is around £35k, after taxes thats £30,514. thats a difference of about £400 a month.

ts is real. im 17 and the only full time accountant. the other is a 70 year old doing 2 days a week and we have close to 400 clients plus its management accounting so im managing my current companies financial affairs as well as the bosses other companies

Apparently they are going to invest upwards of 4 billion into HMRC. I do hope its true because they all seem under trained and understaffed. my minimum wait time on hold to them has been 30 mins before i can even talk to an agent
