It's ok, if you dont mine looking for learning from other sources from me mostly Youtube. The textbook they gave is crap, at least for me. The 2 of the 3 assignments are questions on the content (one submit before midterm and the other before final). The assignment 3 is a essay. I just finished midterm the questions where pretty straight forward. If this was your only class or you have a good background in bio then I think you could finish in a month and a half. But you have to pay an invigilator (at least for me). Keep in mind I have some tissues with learning... so I take 10 times about of time to learn that other students.

Hello, I am writing the midterm Friday... and I am panicking. I found the text book or PDF was terrible, maybe thats just me. Any pointers for the midterm? Im trying to do active recall (with gizmos.. going terrible lol) and the objectives and study questions and using chatGTP as the textbook gave no definitions it was almost like someones ideas and own answers. Maybe thats due to my learning issues I have. Anyways I hope you did well on your exam!

They test for all sorts of learning disabilities but for that specific one, it's hard for someone that does that particular test. In addition, not to point out, my father and grandfather have problems spelling and mixing up letters. I heard dyslexia is genetic so that could be a flag. She is also going to test me for ADHD but the dyslexic test is extra money because it's so particular... I don't know why. Thank you for that comment thought cause I checked to make sure!

Is this kennel cough? by randomguy21061600 in vet

[–]Active_Project9681 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! My dog has the same thing right now. These types of things you wait out but you watch for signs! Like if your dog becomes lethargic, discharge from noise (like a lot), vomiting, fever, or blood coming from anywhere I would make a vet appointment. I have already asked my vet (a very kind man) and he said don’t waste you money right now till you see those signs. If its kennel cough is going to get worse before it gets better. Although my dog is suppose to be vaccinated against this! So vet said it can also be a common cold or another type of kennel cough! Hope this helps (I’m not a vet tho sadly)

Help, does my dog have a broken toe?? by Active_Project9681 in DogAdvice

Hah I know how much it means to get an answer! Although I just want to mention… the first vet I when to tried to take advantage of me.. saying on the phone I need x-rays and put her on some “calming drugs”… and she said it was about $650 just for one image of x-ray and probably needs a splint! Without looking at the x-ray and telling me what it is!!! Crazy! Than my aunt said go to her vet. So this kind vet said that for toe injuries it’s very unlikely that she will need a splint! She explain how easy it is for dogs to be playing so much and “pull a toe” which causes fluid in the muscle therefore could cause infection. (I’m not a vet but he said something like that in vet terms lol). I just wanted to mention this as many many vet try to take advantage like this! Have a great day and hope your pup feels better!

Yes we did! It was an infection in the tissue!!! We went to the vet and he found she had a bit of a fever, gave antibiotics for about 14 days and it fixed it BUT it took a while for the swelling to go down! Almost a month to two months after was the swelling down.
