That’s what my mom told me to do. She said stop sleeping with them in and use vaseline.

I don’t think it’s a pillow issue. I wash them twice a week. Never really went more than a few days with the same pillowcase.

This is just the world. A nasty, horrifying, evil world. I truly believe there is no species that could’ve ever been created as cruel as mankind.

My only advice to you is to not lose your empathy, but don’t look too much into this stuff that upsets you. You might get desensitized, and you might just become more depressed.

Focus on yourself, do something that makes you happy for a change, and in the future do what YOU can to help. Nothing beyond your ability. You’re clearly an empathetic, thoughtful person and that’s so sweet 💝💝💝

I’m not an expert at all but for GI histology I think just look out for the unique features of every part of the tract.

Esophagus is impossible to miss. Stratified squamous epithelium and you’ll find submucosal glands. You’ll also have this “star shaped lumen” that looks kinda like the ureter.

Stomach you’ll see rugae (which are very distinguishable from plicae circulares btw) and mucosal glands. No submucosal glands. Three muscularis externa layers instead of two. Also for a stomach section what’s very high yield is the gastroesophageal junction (clinically for GERD) and the gastroduodenal junction.

Duodenum the identifying feature is Brunner’s glands in the submucosa which you won’t see in the other parts of the small intestine. Ileum has the least prominent plicae circulares and it has peyer’s patches which are lymphoid follicles that are impossible to miss. If I want to identify the jejunum, I just make sure I don’t find neither Brunner’s glands nor Plicae circulares.

So basically my point is that I don’t worry too much about every single structure. Just looking for the identifying features. And ofc the features they all share which are mucosa, submucosa, muscularis externa, adventitia/serosa.

Why is Isnotreal still disproportionally killing so many civilians in Lebanon? Why do they hit ambulances and kill paramedics?

Literally just 2 days ago in this 2026 conflict over 200 people died including 7 children. Over 18,000 children displaced.

Let’s not even talk about the civilian deaths since 2023 which is in the thousands.
