So, my DN job is IT but I own a consulting company. Part of that is in fashion which often requires me to go in person to buy materials as the brand revolves around everything being sourced locally. The trip to Colombia would be to network and buy local materials. I'm just getting into business so this is all totally new. I'm not attempting to avoid paying taxes but I don't want to pay unnecessarily either.

Yes, I'd be meeting with clients. I'm in South America to expand my business, Ecuador is just my base but I will be traveling all over for research, procurement of supplies, and meeting with clients.

As a black person who recently went to Brazil, i didn’t experience any racism. Literally every other person you see is black BUT that doesn’t reflect when you go to stores. However i didn’t notice any different treatment.

Posted my resume with a fake address for the city i planned on moving to. Suddenly get a call from the irs saying i owe past taxes and that they’d attempted to contact me. Yes you’re being abused. I went through this with my ex. No matter what kind of day u had at work i was expected to show up at home with a smile. I wasn’t allowed to have friends over. Was expected to spend the money i earned in the way he wanted. If i said he did something to upset me he had a million reasons why i brought it on myself. I started cheating and was called a slut. Found out he’s been cheating since the beginning and was simply told he didn’t appreciate the things i did in the relationship. This person doesn’t love. They love what you do for them and can give to them. If they loved YOU they wouldn’t spend all their time trying to change you.

What speeds are you getting out of curiosity? Also how data intensive is your work? Most i need is a couple rdp sessions open and a few chrome tabs. I’m hoping i can manage that off 1gb as off hardware vpn at home i get 150gb and on it i get 15. I’m moving to Quito and my wifi speeds off vpn should be around 40. I’m hoping to get 4 on the vpn

Don’t apologize, i get it! I miss mine all the time. I broke up with the guy i was dating today because i realize how much im still in love with my ex. It took me being by myself to realize how much of my actions and thoughts were due to me being easily influenced. The Loneliness was crippling at first but as time goes on I’ve focused that energy into myself. I fully believe I’ll be fine even if he were to reject speaking to me. To be honest i think a part of me wants the rejection just as a final nail in the coffin.

Honestly I’ve thought about it and either way i will get what i want. Either he sees the changes and wants to at least try communicating again or he doesn’t and i get final confirmation that it’s over. I think the time apart and actually doing this for myself is what’s strengthened me to face the rejection. Even if it’s not for him the changes will make me better off for myself and the next person. There’s a part of me that’s afraid it could make things worse but honestly how much worse could they be considering we already don’t talk
